  1. All of the female characters in the Kingdom Hearts series are strong and unique in their own ways. Aqua used to be my favorite, but over time, I found that there is just something about Kairi that I like more than all the rest. Maybe it's that she is the one who has been there since the beginning, so I am the most attached to her, or something like that. A close second is Xion. She has grown on me because I personally think that she has the best story arc of any female character in the Kingdom Hearts series. Not only that, but she has proven that she can hold her own against the very best and even win against them. My least favorite is Larxene. Don't get me wrong, I think that she is a great villain. However, because she takes such joy in belittling everyone every chance she gets, I can't stand her. It's not so much that she is constantly belittling people, it's that she takes so much pleasure in it. However, even though I can't stand her constant belittling, I still see her as being one of the most underrated villains in the entire Kingdom Hearts series.
  2. While we are getting a more mature Sora, that doesn't mean that he will have a complete change of character. Sora's innocence and uncorrupted heart are part of what makes him such a unique character compared to all of the others. Riku was even told this in Dream Drop Distance. In fact, it is because of this that he has so many connections to so many people. It is also the reason why so many characters may be able to be saved, which it sounds like will be a huge part of Kingdom Hearts III. Because of all of this, I have a feeling that Sora will still be the same guy he has always been. If I had to guess, I would say that the only way that we will see him change is that he will just take things a little more seriously.
  3. I don't think this will take place after Kingdom Hearts 1. I think it will take place right before and/or during the events of Kingdom Hearts 1, since King Mickey's journey to find the Kingdom Key D took place at that time, and I believe that is the time that King Mickey met Aqua. The ending cutscene(s) with Aqua might take place after Kingdom Hearts 1, if the ending doesn't take place in a world that fell into darkness. However, we are visiting worlds that fell into darkness, and I don't think any worlds fell into darkness after Kingdom Hearts 1 (unless I am mistaken). As far as worlds that we might visit, since 0.2 is a sequel of sorts to Birth by Sleep, I think we will only visit worlds from Birth by Sleep, even though we know that worlds like Pride Lands and Pranksters Paradise also fell into darkness. Plus, I think Aqua seeing her memories might be a reoccurring thing in this game. So, I think we will only visit worlds where there is a possibility that Aqua will encounter her memories. As far as what other two worlds I think we will visit, I agree that the two most likely worlds are Dwarf Woodlands and Enchanted Dominion, because those are the only other two Disney worlds from Birth by Sleep that fell into darkness. The only other worlds from Birth by Sleep that might have fallen into darkness (although we haven't been told if they did or not) are the Keyblade Graveyard and Mirage Arena. I don't think that we will revisit the Mirage Arena, since it is an optional world and nothing important to the story happened there, although it might be possible that we will visit the Keyblade Graveyard, and Aqua will have memories of the battle that happened there. That would be interesting. I just don't think that will happen (at least not as much as visiting Dwarf Woodlands and Enchanted Dominion).
  4. Spoilers for Kingdom Hearts 1, Chain of Memories, and Dream Drop Distance (if you haven't played any of those games):
  5. This is who I want to fight too, for the exact same reason. Spoilers for the end of Final Fantasy VII and possible spoilers for Kingdom Hearts II (it probably isn't a spoiler for Kingdom Hearts II, unless you haven't fought the Final Fantasy secret boss in this game and do not want spoilers of any kind at all):
  6. True, but it's possible that Vexen is no longer viewed as a worthy candidate for the seekers of darkness. After all, Young Xehanort did tell Riku in Dream Drop Distance that not of the members of Organization XIII were fit for the task. Also, just because something makes more sense doesn't mean that is how it will happen. I'm not saying it won't happen, because it might. Anything is still possible at this point. So, we will just have to wait for Kingdom Hearts III to see what happens. While Sora's memories did play a part in making Xion, she is still mainly a replica of Roxas. Sora's memories are what gave her the appearance of Kairi. Nowhere does it say that Xion is a replica of Sora, but it does say in 358/2 Days that she is a replica of Roxas. So, unless we are told otherwise, I think it is safe to say that Xion is a replica of Roxas, but not Sora. The way I look at it is that while Sora and Ventus were both used to make Roxas, Roxas is still just Sora's Nobody. I think it is just like how Ansem the Wise said in his tenth secret report that even though Sora and Kairi were both used to make Namine, Namine is still just Kairi's Nobody.
  7. I personally think that none of the Foretellers are the traitor. It's not really based on anything other than that I don't know why Square-Enix would make the traitor be a leader of a Union you can join in Kingdom Hearts X[chi] and Unchained X. Once everyone learns who the traitor is, if the traitor is one of the Foretellers, who would want to be in that Foreteller's Union? That's the way I look at it. I personally think that the traitor will be the sixth apprentice. Nomura himself said in an interview in the 600th issue of Dengeki PlayStation, "The one remaining apprentice hasn't been talked about at all yet, so please wait for [KHxBC]." So, we know that the sixth apprentice will have a role in Back Cover, but what will it be? I think that since he has not been talked about at all, he will be the traitor. I think that not talking about the sixth apprentice at all might be an attempt by Square-Enix to make us forget about him, so that we are surprised when the traitor is revealed to be him, but all of this is just my opinion.
  8. If you were to chose any world to appear in Kingdom Hearts III, what would it be? Also, if you want, you can include your reasoning and what you would want to happen in that world. I would want to see a Toy Story world. It's not just my favorite Disney movie. It's my favorite movie of all time. I am not sure how big the world would be, but I at least imagine you being able to explore all of Andy's house. Maybe you would be able to explore Andy's yard as well. You would be able to climb just about everything you saw, so that there is more exploring options and so that it incorporates the parkour elements that the game will have. Plus, it will make the world feel bigger. The way I could see the story going (at least a shorter version) is that Sora, Donald, and Goofy arrive in Andy's room during the staff meeting. Andy's toys just found out that Andy's birthday party has been moved to today and have begun to panic. They panic even more when they see Sora, Donald, and Goofy, thinking that the party has already started and that they are Andy's cool new toys that will replace them. The fear that the toys feel attracts Heartless, which Sora, Donald, and Goofy defeat. After the Heartless are defeated, the trio of heroes assures the toys that they are not replacing them, and they say that they belong somewhere else. The toys assume this means that some of Andy's friends brought their own toys along with them. The toys think that the heroes can help them find out what new toys Andy is getting by escort the green army men downstairs to a safe hiding place while protecting them from Heartless that try to attack them. Sora, Donald, and Goofy gladly agree to help. It looks like all of the presents have been opened, but then, Andy's mom pulls out a surprise present. However, neither the green army men nor the trio of heroes can see what the present is, because the excited kids block the present from view. Then, the kids announce that they are going upstairs, but before they can, Andy's mom tells them to help Andy carry up all of his new toys. As the kids are picking up Andy's new toys to carry them to Andy's room, Sora, Donald, and Goofy race to Andy's room to warn the toys and to help them get back to their spots before the kids arrive, slaying Heartless along the way. The kids place the new toys in Andy's room and the mysterious new toy on Andy's bed. Then, they leave to play party games. Sora, Donald, and Goofy climb up the bed with Woody, followed by the other toys, to see what the new toy is. It is a Buzz Lightyear, and after he shows off what he can do, Woody becomes jealous, which causes a giant Heartless to appear. Sora, Donald, and Goofy jump into action to defeat it, with Buzz deciding to help them. The giant Heartless looks like a toy robot with pincers that it grabs at the heroes with. It is also able to shoot lasers out of its eyes. However, it is slow moving and the joints on its legs are weak points. Once the joints have the damaged enough, the giant Heartless falls over, revealing its true weak spot: its battery pack. One the battery pack is destroyed, the giant Heartless is destroyed too. Sora, Donald, and Goofy tell Woody that he needs to learn to get along with Buzz, or more of the Heartless will show up. Woody agrees to try his best to get along with Buzz. Then, Sora, Donald, and Goofy say their goodbyes and depart for the next world. This is pretty short, but maybe this would end up just being the first half, or the first visit. The second half could focus on rescuing Woody and Buzz from Sid's house after the other toys give up on them or something like that.
  9. It is true that Riku Replica was destroyed before a piece of Xehanort's heart could be put in him (or so it appears), but Xehanort could still use time travel to go and get him. It looks like we might see the return of Marluxia, who showed no signs of being a Xehanort and was destroyed in Chain of Memories, since it looks like his symbol was on a piece on the chess board in one of the Kingdom Hearts III trailers and since it looks like Nobodies that resemble him appeared in one of the Kingdom Hearts III trailers. Also, it looks like the symbols for Luxord, Larxene, and possibly Demyx also appeared on the chess board in one of the Kingdom Hearts III trailers, and they didn't show any signs of being a Xehanort before they were destroyed either. So, Riku Replica coming back could be a possibility still.
  10. I thought that that Riku could be Riku Replica too. However, it could also just be a part of that Dream World, like you said. Spoilers for Dream Drop Distance:
  11. Ansem and Xemnas were destroyed, but they are back due to time travel. So, if Master Xehanort wanted to use Riku Replica as a vessel, he could use time travel to bring him back, like he did for Ansem and Xemnas. Also, as I said in my initial post, the data version of Ansem the Wise told Riku that Sora may have the power to bring back those who have thought to have been lost forever. However, you do bring up a good point about Riku Replica still being the thing he hates the most about himself. So, I don't know what will happen. But it was just a thought.
  12. I was trying to guess who the seekers of darkness are, and then I thought, "What if Riku Replica is one of the seekers of darkness?" It might seem crazy at first, but I think it might be possible to see Riku Replica return in Kingdom Hearts III, even if he isn't a seeker of darkness, no time travel required. Spoilers for the end of Sora's story in Chain of Memories, Riku's story in Chain of Memories, and the end of Dream Drop Distance:
  13. That's another good point! Even though I did not come to this conclusion the same way that you did, I still assumed that we would not see more that one version of each character (other than Master Xehanort and Young Xehanort) in Kingdom Hearts III. However, I still think that it is possible for Apprentice Xehanort to be a seeker of darkness, because, in my opinion, he is pretty much his own character (much like Ansem and Xemnas), due to the fact that he lost his memory. I could be wrong, but at this point, I feel like anything could be possible.
  14. I don't think Square had no interest is the Xbox, otherwise they would not be putting Kingdom Hearts III on the Xbox 1. I think it is because, as Square-Enix has said, they want all of their past games to be available on one platform. So, since I.5 and II.5 were not on Xbox, they decided not to put II.8 on Xbox either. However, maybe they will eventually decide to put all the games on Xbox as well. We will just have to wait and see.
  15. I never thought of that! That makes a lot of sense! However, I still think it is possible for Master Xehanort to use Terra as one of his seekers of darkness without possessing Terra a second time (if Terra did indeed break free of Master Xehanort's control). Remember, Young Xehanort used time travel to gather versions of himself from throughout time, and there was a major part of Xehanort's life when he was Terra-Xehanort. So, we could see Terra-Xehanort return as Apprentice Xehanort, even if Terra is no longer a vessel for Master Xehanort. In fact, we could even see Riku-Ansem return as a seeker of darkness, since Ansem, who is a Xehanort, was in possession of Riku's body from Sora's first visit to Hollow Bastion until the end of the first game. I don't think this will happen, but it is a possibility.
  16. Spoilers for the secret ending of re:coded and the ending of Dream Drop Distance:
  17. Nice theory! The Master of Masters sounds younger than I expected him to be and even acts younger in the way we see him move in the trailer. So, maybe he already possessed a younger body. As to who he could have possessed, I personally think that it is possible that the Master of Masters possessed his 6th apprentice. Assuming that it is true that the Master of Masters disappeared, I don't think the Foretellers would know that the man in the black coat is him. So, since the Foretellers obviously trust the man in the black coat, they must think that the man in the black coat is someone else that they know, other than the Master of Masters. And, since the only other person that they know enough to meet with and discuss the Book of Prophecies with is the 6th apprentice (that we know of), I assume that the Master of Masters must be possessing his 6th apprentice's body. This could explain why the Master of Masters didn't give his 6th apprentice a copy of the Book of Prophecies, because he was planning on possessing him.
  18. I never thought of that! That's a really good theory! Spoilers for the end of Kingdom Hearts 1 (just in case there is someone reading this who never finished the game):
  19. Spoilers for the end of Kingdom Hearts 1 and Dream Drop Distance (just in case someone reading this hasn't finished either of those games) and for Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage- (if you haven't watched the E3 2016 demo):
  20. I personally prefer the layout that Kingdom Hearts 1 had. Not for any particular reason. I just prefer to visit each world only once (other than a few key worlds, such as Traverse Town in Kingdom Hearts 1 or Hollow Bastion in Kingdom Hearts II).
  21. I think that Sora and Kairi will be the only couple to come out of Kingdom Hearts III. Square-Enix have been teasing this ever since the first game. So, if they don't make it official in the finale to the Dark Seeker Saga, I think it will be a missed opportunity. Now, while I think that only Sora and Kairi will become officially a couple, there are two other couples that I think are possible: 1. Roxas and Namine Spoilers if you haven't finished Kingdom Hearts II (just in case someone reading this hasn't finished it): 2. Terra and Aqua This one I think is less likely, but I still think it is a possibility. Minor spoilers for Birth by Sleep (I don't know if you would consider this a spoiler, but just to be safe, I will treat it like one):
  22. What did you think of how the characters looked, especially Terra?
  23. There may be spoilers for those who have not kept up to date on the story of Kingdom Hearts X[chi] and Unchained X in this post. So, I will mark my explanation as a "spoiler." I am not sure if Master Ava is talking about the Realm of Sleep when she says, "the world outside" or not.
  24. I never thought of that! I think I actually like this theory more than mine!
  25. In Dream Drop Distance, Master Yen Sid tells Sora and Riku about the Keyblade War. Part of what he told them was, "These warriors [the legions who wanted the light for themselves] crafted Keyblades in the image of the original X-Blade and waged a great war over Kingdom Hearts." However, we do not know how these Keyblades were crafted. In Kingdom Hearts X[chi] and Unchained X, we start playing at a time when Keyblades have already been crafted. So, we do not get to see (at least, not yet) how they were crafted in the first place. However, I think I have a theory as to how they were. Since the abilities of characters from the future are able to be brought out of the Book of Prophecies as cards/medals that the Keyblade wielders are then able to use, maybe the Keyblade wielders' Keyblades were also brought out of the Book of Prophecies. That would explain why so many of the same types of Keyblades can be found being wielded by different Keyblade wielders. I think this theory is a bit of a long shot, but I also think it could make sense. What do you think?
