  1. That still doesn't change the fact that I have to watch a concert, which I had no idea about until now, just to not be confused about a plot hole in a video game.
  2. I'm going to wholeheartedly disagree with this theory on the grounds that it takes everything away from Xehanort. What's the point of building up this entertainingly hammy, larger than life villain if your just going to ruin him by making him just another pretty boy victim? That is seriously getting very old by the way, stop sympathizing with the pretty genocidal maniacs. Yes, I get that The Master and Luxu are all mysterious and villain like just because they wear the black coat and because they wield Xehanort's Keyblade but that doesn't mean they're possessing him. What reason would they have? And don't give that "traitor" explanation because there was no traitor. The Foretellers only assumed there was one because they were idiots who blindly followed the words of a creepy old guy, which seems to be a pattern in this franchise.
  3. I have to ask: why is everybody so happy about this concert crap? It's because Square Enix pulls these stunts that people complain about the games having plot holes, all of the important details aren't even in the games, they're all in these damn Japan exclusive guide books and concerts. I hate being constantly confused about what happens only to once again learn that I have to learn Japanese and import limited time items just to understand what's going on. I am sick and tired of this bull crap!
  4. True but I can't see any other way he could come back like everyone seems to think he will. I refuse to believe time travel will be involved due to how convoluted and stupid it would be.
  5. Just because something has yellow eyes doesn't necessarily make it a Xehanort, otherwise every Heartless we kill is secretly a Xehanort. If Vanitas does come back but with graying hair, pointed ears, and tanner skin just like all of the other Seekers, then we'll know he's a Xehanort. As for how Vanitas had a physical body, it's the same as how all Heartless have a physical form: it's made of pure Darkness, helped along by Ventus's Heart connecting with Sora's. I agree that he might not be inside Sora, but we do know that Ventus shattered their shared Heart after they had fused which then merged itself with Sora's Heart. So if Ventus is in their somewhere, there is a chance that Vanitas could be as well.
  6. My problem with Xion and Vanitas being on these lists is that they're kind of stuck inside Sora at the moment. If Xehanort wants to complete his Seekers, he'd have to more or less kill Sora which would then deprive him of one of the Seven Guardians and he kind of needs those for the big plan. If they were made into Seekers before they were "killed" and merged with/returned to Sora, wouldn't they have consumed Sora's Heart and made him into a Seeker anyway? And no one bring up time travel, you all know my stance on that subject and I will defend my opinion of how stupid a plot point it is till the very end.
  7. If Young Xehanort is Master Xehanort's youngest self, then there is no other way besides time travel for him to gather his other selves because they don't exist yet because he hasn't grown up into them yet. Also, how do you not know? They're using your Keyblade so you should know exactly what they're up to.
  8. Oh they were really there, they had to be for the distraction to seem like a legitimate threat, otherwise the heroes would realize they were being distracted. And now that the heroes are looking this way, Xehanort, Braig, and Isa can go looking for spare vessels. Although to be fair, we don't know who the other six/seven Seekers are yet so they could also be legitimate present day vessels, all we know is that Young Xehanort, Ansem, Xemnas, Xigbar, Saix, and possibly the Master Xehanort we see in the scene can't come back.
  9. But how? Is he going to split himself up again and send his Heartless back in time to start all of this over again? Because that is the only way the time displaced Seekers can come back according to the rules of Time Travel.
  10. This. I have been bringing this up so many times and yet I can't seem to get a straight answer. My main theory is that while the events of Dream Drop Distance were Xehanort's attempt at making Sora the Thirteenth Seeker, it was also an elaborate smokescreen. You're right in that the time displaced Seekers, including the Master Xehanort we see, can't come back, this was all to distract the heroes while the real reborn Master Xehanort, Braig, and Isa work behind the scenes to make things go according to plan.
  11. This is why I hate Nomura, he reveals important plot details everywhere except in the games themselves and only in places that non Japanese people can't legally get to.
  12. I had always figured that the Sleeping Worlds that we see weren't actually Sleeping Worlds at all. After all, the Seekers seem to have power over these worlds if they're able to make Sora and thus Riku travel along they're planned out pathways. It's the only way that I can think of that explains the inconsistent worlds like Country Of The Musketeers and the Grid. That, and these are dream worlds, characters like Pete who don't make sense are probably there because Sora and Riku are there. Them being there probably causes the dream worlds to form in accordance with their own memories. Like, they know Mickey so their associated memories connected to Mickey are projecting Pete into the role of the villain.
  13. Whosa watsit now? They're's only been one Keyblade War, the one caused by the Foretellers infighting, which is the one that Luxu is viewing. The Second Keyblade War is the one that Xehanort is going to start. Unless there is once again another damn interview with Nomura where he explains things. As much as I love this series, that man really can not write.
  14. That just raises more questions. Like where did he get that power in the first place and why is he recording what he sees and passing the Books out if it's impossible to change the future? If he's the original Keyblade Master, where did he get his powers if the only way to get them is from another Master? Just everything about this guy is... well nothing because we don't know anything for there to be an everything.
  15. Let me see if I've got this right: The Master implants his eye into his Keyblade (ouch) which he then passes on to Luxu. Luxu then goes off to follow The Master's instruction because the eye transmits everything it sees back to The Master no matter how far into the future. Then Master then uses his future vision to pen the Books Of Prophecy to be handed out to his five other apprentices. Does this go against the rules of time travel that were established in Dream Drop Distance?
  16. Exactly, and as of the end of 0.2, he now knows that Riku and Mickey will be looking for Aqua, that Sora will be away training, and where Kairi will be which means she'll be right where he wants her.
  17. No but we sure as hell can speculate and the evidence is right there. We just thought it was a design choice but that eye has been at every major event and Xehanort just happens to know where and how everything is going to be?
  18. That's just it, nobody knows. Not Riku, not Yen Sid, not even Xehanort knows where the eye comes from, but Xehanort does know that it just so happens to connect to a very peculiar book that just so happens to know the future. This whole time, from the moment Riku received his Soul Eater, he's been unknowingly supplying intel to the enemy.
  19. Well those masks must not have any eye holes because I can't figure out why else they would be so blind. I'm not a very smart person but even I know that you don't trust a guy who hides his face behind an ominous black coat and never tells you everything. I'm starting to notice a pattern where everyone just so happens to be blind in regards to the obviously evil people.
  20. Maybe it isn't an actual eye and maybe Nomura didn't have this all planned out from the beginning. but this wouldn't be the first time he's repurposed an old concept in this franchise.
  21. He needs to get rid of it now! If the theory that Xehanort has a Book Of Prophecies is correct, then that's how he always knows what the heroes are planning, because Riku's Keyblade has the future seeing eye on it. Even back when he just had the Soul Eater, he's been an unwitting mole for the Seekers this whole time.
  22. I think they're rigged. I mean, they're apparently so detailed that they can project entire simulated worlds and entire people from the distant future to an insane degree and yet they just so happen to become ultra vague and cryptic when it comes to the upcoming apocalypse? I call bull crap. For that matter, the Foretellers are idiots. You mean to tell me that they willingly listen to a man who always has his face covered, instructs you and your allies to always keep your own faces covered, and instructs you to keep secrets from each other? Is anyone else smelling heaping piles bull crap?
  23. Yes but as far as we know, there are no naturally occurring Hearts in the Realm Of Darkness, only in the Light. If Pureblood Heartless are the Darkness of the Heart, that would mean that they used to be people so they did originally come from the Light. The only beings that can survive in the Realm Of Darkness are the Heartless, those with exceptionally strong Hearts (such as Aqua and Mickey), and the exceptionally evil (the Xehanorts) and none of them originally came from the Realm Of Darkness.
  24. Here's something I've been pondering for a while: we all no that the opposing elements of Darkness and Light have inherent weaknesses to each other but why is it that denizens of the Realm Of Light are pretty much screwed in the Realm Of Darkness but Heartless have no problem surviving in the Realm Of Light? Is it because all Heartless were originally people from the Realm Of Light or that the Darkness truly is more powerful than the Light? If the former, does that mean that the Realm Of Darkness truly has no natural denizens of it's own? And if it does and the Heartless aren't it, then what the heck could be living in there?
  25. If anything, Leon and the rest of the Hollow Bastion crew don't need Keyblades, they're pretty much supernatural badasses already. I mean, have you seen the things that Cloud and Leon can do?
