Was the floor carpet, at least? My mom said she had a very bad experience where she had to sleep on the floor when she was married to her first husband, especially when she was having her time of the month. I was made to sleep on the floor whenever I visited my bio father and my older half-sister got the bed, I tend to move around too much in the bed and even talk in my sleep. The floor was at least carpeted, I think the last time I visited him was when I was eleven years old. The most horrible experience with sleeping on the floor was sleeping on the cold, concrete floor and not having any pillow or blankets when I was nineteen-years-old.
