I would honestly ve a little disappointed if Hundred Acre Wood is in KH3...I'm kinda over it by now..

In both numbered titles in the series there has been a "Dark" version of Sora..in KH 1 it was a replica that Riku/Ansem summoned and in KH 2 it was Anti Form. While these were not necessarily plot centric, I don't think it was coincidence that Sora has these forms. Perhaps Nomura has been hinting at the darkness in Sora's heart all this time. That being said I feel like there is a strong possibility that a "Dark" form of Sora will be in KH 3. With The True Organization 13 confronting Sora and tempting him to embrace the Darkness,this honestly seems more than likely. Please let me know what you think! P.S I can't help but also think Vanitus is. related to this as well.

I agree that 2019 will have a lot of games that will more then likely be received better than KH3...but I am hoping that it will at least accomplish what Persona 5 did last year and take people by surprise. We already know that it's going to sell well, at least nothing so far has indicated that it'll be a flop. The attention garnered this year along with promotion by Square will prepare KH3 for a good reception. If it can live up to the hype by satisfying fans and bringing in newcomer...

That's absolutely right. GOTY is given out by numerous Magazines, groups, critics,and the like..and on top of that anyone can just slap "Game of the Year" on a cover and not many would be the wiser. However, there are outstanding games that are usually considered to be GOTY officially, or at least they recieved the highest consensus in voting across the medium. (Breath of the Wild in '17, Overwatch in '16, ect). I'm just crossing my fingers that KH3 is up there in the...

I liked Fable 3 a lot and I feel like it shouldn't get all the flack for not being as good as 2. I loved that I could become the Ruler of Albion and make decisions that influenced the country and the people. The combat was just as good if not better than it was in 2, and the humor and storytelling that made the series popular was intact for sure. The only gripe I can say about the game is it's severe lack of post-game content outside of a few unexplored areas and dungeons.

There are also potential games (The Last Of Us Part 2, Beyond Good and Evil 2, Starfield,ect.) that may be surprise releases in 2019. Which game do you think has the best chance to win?

(If it's still safe to comment) :unsure: We can't make any definitive lists at the moment because Sora himself may turn to darkness...And in Kairi's particular case, she's considered both a Princess of Heart and a Guardian of Light, making her interchangeable between the two positions. I think that only makes it more confusing and Nomura has made the roster very muddled as to who will be on who's side, and why certain "who's" are back to begin with. I'm just hoping that KH3 doesn't cause more questions then it answers.

Thanks for the correction! I was recently binge watching all the cutscenes and my memory was a little blurred.

A movie at the end of Dream Drop Distance shows Yensid giving Riku and MIckey suitcases with new "vestments" that would protect them from the R.o.D. The next time we see them, in the Oath trailer, they have their new clothes and Riku is leaving his broken Way To Dawn in the sand for his "other me". After that we can connect the Frozen trailer's Aqua confronting Mickey and Riku as the next point in the timeline. I'm wondering if this will be playable in KH3 to some extent, Nomura already confirming that there will be more playable characters other than Sora. This definitely looks like a important part of the story however and it's cool to see Nomura giving us little pieces we can fit together with the story. Please let me know what you guys think or if there are any missing parts!

Mickey, and thereby extension Yensid are aware of Terra's Lingering Will, and i'm sure it will play a part in events of KH3, particularly in the end, but they need wielders who are present and ready to fight. Terra's Will may be in a completely different realm than when we saw it in KH2, it may not even be possible to locate it right now.

I'm very much looking forward to the continuation of the franchise and new characters that will be introduced in the future. KH has the potential to easily become as big a name in JRPG's as Dragon Quest and FF, (if it hasn't already) and I would be very sad and disappointed if it ever just stopped. Chances are though that we'll be seeing KH games for a long time, for better or for worse.

Given that Disney has a good relationship with Studio Ghibli (they are the distributors of the Studio's films internationally,) and that Square Enix has a past in working with the Studio, it doesn't seem so far-fetched to see in the future a inclusion of a Studio Ghibli world(s) in KH. I really believe they would fit in well into the franchise and it would be a good opportunity for Studio Ghibli to see their beautiful films represented in a different medium with care and attention to detail. I honestly don't know why it was never really considered, or if it had at one point why it would be turned down. It looks at least for the moment a exciting potential prospect for the future. KH as a franchise has really grown recently so it seems like all of Disney, Square and Studio Ghibli would benefit. Please let me know what you think and which worlds or characters from Ghibli would be good inclusions! :lol:

Right, but I wonder at what costs the change will come with. Not to mention that maybe some things will happen regardless of how strong we fight or who we have around us. Sora (through Nomura's hinting) will perhaps have to face this very condition. I think some sacrifice will have to occur in order to prevent Xehanort's goals, Aqua, Terra and Ventus have at this point all fallen to Xehanort in one manner or another which is honestly alarming and makes me wonder just how close he really is to his goals.

Xehanort wants another Keyblade War, and Nomura confirmed that the stories of Union X and KH3 are connected, so it seems that's what is going on currently..However that doesn't necessarily mean it will transpire in the same manner as before. It does and thank you. I'm still not entirely sure which one Sora would reflect, as he as been a broken vessel and once lost the ability to wield the keyblade, likening him to Ventus, and then was almost possessed, which likens him to Terra. The fact that we may see him sacrifice himself for a friend,in whichever method that would mean, and that Aqua was the one who helped awaken Sora as a Keyblade wielder, gives him a strong connection to Aqua. Perhaps i'm just overthinking it all haha

The last quote(image) in particular, Master Xehanort is addressing what seems to be what Ventus, Aqua and Terra respectively experienced in Birth by Sleep, however he seems to be wanting to repeat history and Sora in this case could apply to each of the positions, giving leniency to Sora being his new vessel, as Xehanort was very nearly successful in fully possessing Sora in Dream Drop Distance. That being said, Xehanort isn't one to give up on a plan when one factor goes wary and may possibly be attempting to posses Sora again in KH3. With all this in consideration im having difficulty trying to sort out what this means, if it's a important detail related to KH3 or simply Xehanort answering Mickey's question in regards to the events of BbS. Please let me know what you think! Side Note: The three Keyblades in the image are MIckey's, Sora's and Riku's. (well, their former ones at least). this adds greater confusion :S

I wish there was more information on Keyblades. I'm especially interested in the ones that aren't transformable like the Kingdom Key. But the Blizzard Blades also look amazing!
