  1. I definitely would love to see a console remake of Union X. Some folks have never even played Union X, and just having the story and the cutscenes be ONLY exclusive via the app over consoles makes this a missed opportunity and I think that if their is one game that deserves a 3D remake in Unreal Engine and voice acting it would be Union X.
  2. Now Jump Festa has already passed and no KH news content so not surprised by this outcome along with everyone else. Now this is the third time we didn't get ANY KH related News at Jump Festa following Jump Festa 2018 in December 2017 and Jump Festa 2021 in 2020 respectively, and 2021 is the 2nd year since 2017 we didn't get ANY Kingdom Hearts news both at Tokyo Game Show and Jump Festa respectively. See you in 2022.
  3. Thank you so much for posting the article @OrpheusJoshua. I had to contribute and share the news of Sayaka Kanda's passing since it wasn't posted on the site until now. Seeing this news made me shocked considering how talented she is as a singer and voice actress and I feel really sorry for her family right now. Now she is the 6th Japanese voice actor from Kingdom Hearts III to pass away after Koji Tsujitani (Woody), Yuu Shimaka (Goofy), Makio Inoue (Master Eraqus), Keiji Fujiwara (Axel/Lea), and Genzo Wakayama (Ansem the Wise). Rest in Peace, Kanda-san (Princess Anna of Arendelle).
  4. Actress and singer Sayaka Kanda who provides the Japanese voice of Anna from Disney's 2013 animated film Frozen, including it's 2019 sequel Frozen II and in the video game Kingdom Hearts III has passed away today at the age of 35. She was discovered lying on the 14th floor patio of a hotel in Sapporo at about 12:55 p.m. on Saturday. According to The Yomiuri Shimbun paper's source, she was taken unconscious to a hospital, and pronounced dead there at 9:40 p.m. She was 35 at the time of her passing. Sayaka Kanda was born on October 1, 1986 in Tokyo as the daughter of actor Masaki Kanda and singer Seiko Matsuda. She made her professional entertainment debut by appearing in a commercial in 2001. In addition of voicing Anna in various projects for Disney, Kanda also starred as Shioji in Air Bound, Mana Nagase in Idoly Pride, Teresa in Star Blazers 2202, and Yuna in Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale and Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld Part 2 Rest in peace Sayaka Kanda and thank you for providing the Japanese voice of Princess Anna of Arendelle.
  5. Well folks tomorrow is Jump Festa let's see what KH news will show up (even if the liklihood is slim).
  6. I'm super excited that with the release of the 20th Anniversary trailer that I can't wait for what exciting things will come out from the 20th Anniversary event next year.
  7. Jump Festa is our only possibility and hope considering that it's the other main event that we get KH news and trailer every year. The ONLY times we didn't get ANY KH related News was at Jump Festa 2018 in December 2017 and Jump Festa 2021 in 2020 respectively, especially the former Jump Festa as following the D23 2017 Toy Story trailer we didn't get any KH news 7 months later in February 2018 at the D23 Japan 2018 event.
  8. Again I'm expecting either TGS 2021 or especially Jump Festa 2022 we may get a surprise teaser announcement for the next KH title or a now in Development trailer considering that this month Dark Road is set to release it's last update or next month and it's been 10 months since Melody of Memory came out. Secondly, I'm not going to relent until we get somethin, cause the ONLY time we didn't get ANY KH related news & trailers at at the Tokyo Game Show and Jump Festa events was at Jump Festa 2011, TGS 2017 and Jump Festa 2018 back in 2010 and 2017 respectively and finally for Kingdom Hearts 10th Anniversary they started doing early promotions of it back in September or December of 2011 so If they want to start doing the 20th Anniversary they need to start doing the trademarks earlier rather than on the year of the anniversary.
  9. But that was during Melody of Memory's release 10 months ago The DualShockers article was posted 10 months ago so sometimes things could change it's possible we could get some new KH news before 2022. The ONLY time we didn't get ANY KH related news & trailers at at the Tokyo Game Show and Jump Festa events was at Jump Festa 2011, TGS 2017 and Jump Festa 2018 back in 2010 and 2017 respectively, so I'm cautiously optimistic we may get some news at either this year's TGS or Jump Festa such as a surprise teaser announcement for the next KH title or a now in Development trailer considering that this month Dark Road is set to release it's last update and it's been 10 months since Melody of Memory came out.
  10. Well next year is the 20th Anniversary of the Kingdom Hearts series. On top of that, this month is the final story update for Dark Road along with it being 10 months since the release of Melody of Memory, If in the event we do get any announcements for Phase 2 this year (which goes either way) it'll be at either TGS 2021 or Jump Festa 2022, so I expect either one of those events to feature a surprise teaser announcement for the next KH title or a now in Development trailer.
  11. Nope no new KH game was announced at the event just like E3 2021, but I wouldn't lose hope considering that for the past 10-15 years we had Kingdom Hearts related news and trailers at the Tokyo Game Show and Jump Festa events respectively, the ONLY time we didn't get ANY KH related news & trailers at both events was through TGS 2010, Jump Festa 2011, TGS 2017 and Jump Festa 2018 back in 2010 and 2017 respectively, so I'm cautiously optimistic we may get some news at either this year's TGS or Jump Festa such as a surprise teaser announcement for the next KH title or a now in Development trailer considering that this month Dark Road is set to release it's last update and it's been 10 months since Melody of Memory came out. If they are planning to release a new KH title on the 20th Anniversary of the Kingdom Hearts series next year, they will announce it at either one of those events so that the hype can appear, similar to how they did it with Dream Drop Distance when it was released on the 10th Anniversary of the franchise in 2012.
  12. Hey folks, it's been a while I posted anything new, now recently I've seen the majority being ambivalent and skeptical and buying with Nomura's translated statement on not expecting ANY KH related news until 2022 (20th Anniversary) but personally I highly don't agree with this considering that for the past 10-15 years we had Kingdom Hearts related news and trailers at various events specifically through the Tokyo Game Show and Jump Festa events respectively, the ONLY timed we didn't get ANY KH related news & trailers at both events was at TGS 2017 and Jump Festa 2018 back in 2017 respectively, so I want to ask are we bound to get any KH news from either Tokyo Game Show 2021 or Jump Festa 2022? Now granted this month is the final update for Dark Road and also it's been 10 months since the release of Melody of Memory, If in the event we do get any announcements for phase 2 this year (which goes either way) it'll be at either TGS or Jump Festa, but I assume if anything it'll be next year I highly doubt we will get more than Dark Road this year but this is NOMURA so he may give us a surprise with a teaser announcement for the next KH title or a now in Development trailer. If they are planning to release a new KH title on the 20th Anniversary of the Kingdom Hearts series next year, they will announce it at either one of those events so that the hype can appear, similar to how they did it with Dream Drop Distance when it was released on the 10th Anniversary of the franchise in 2012. But what do you guys think do you think we may get an announcement teaser for the next KH title at either one of those events? Let's keep it honest and civil.
  13. I disagree with you, besides aside from TGS 2017 and Jump Festa 2018 we never had a year we didn't had any news related to Kingdom Hearts, also Dark Road is airing it's last episode this month and I think the likely hood of new KH news is at one of those events but it's likely just going to be a teaser for the next game. Never say never other than TGS 2017 and Jump Festa 2018 back in 2017 we never had a year or an event we didn't had any news related to Kingdom Hearts, on top of that Tokyo Game Show and Jump Festa tend to be the events where we get KH-related news.
  14. There is also TGS and Jump Festa this year so I wouldn't rule them out completely.
  15. Fair Point, however I wouldn't rule out completely alternate versions of Disney worlds Sora previously visited in his Reality but based on the Live-action remakes/reimaginings (e.g. Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland, Maleficent (even though Sora never visited Enchanted Dominion), Mulan 2020, Aladdin 2019) to appear in the "Unreality" besides just the City of Quadratum and presumably worlds based on Final Fantasy. Literally I just can't imagine the Disney Live-Action remakes along with Marvel and Star Wars (to which the fans want but I don't) be worlds residing in the Realm of Light like the other Disney worlds. That's why I think that besides Quadratum and presumably other Final Fantasy worlds I think their could be some alternate versions of Disney worlds that Sora previously visited in his Reality but based on the Live-action remakes/reimaginings (e.g. Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland, Maleficent (even though Sora never visited Enchanted Dominion), Mulan 2020, Aladdin 2019), As for Chicken Little, yeah I remember that film (a guilty pleasure film) especially the ending with everyone watching Ace stop an actual Alien Invasion that was the segway to the game Ace in Action. I don't know what the next KH game is going to be like and which realm would be the main setting for world exploration (Realm of Light, Unreality, etc.). I could see this game be another spiritual successor to Dream Drop Distance where we play as Sora, Riku and presumably Kairi respectively (without Dream Dropping) and most of the Disney worlds will be based on Old/obscure films with some fairly recent films in the mix. Until then, it's far to early what Nomura and his team has in store.
  16. Then again we also had Game Central Station (Wreck-It Ralph) which although it's a data world it's vastly separate from the other data worlds we've seen in past installments such as the Datascape and the Tron Worlds (Space Paranoids and The Grid) so I think it's the other Disney world (along with presumably the Live-action reimaginings). Secondly in Re:Mind, when Sora encountered Yozora in the nighttime version of the Final World, Quadratum appeared as if it was a projection. Since Wreck-it-Ralph is a video-game, like Verum Rex, it could appear that way. I think it's the reason why Game Central Station appeared in Union χ over KH3 just to expand further on the "Unreality" and that it's a video game similar to Verum Rex.
  17. I want to create a discussion on which Disney Worlds we may expect to see in the Realm of thhe "Unreality" for the next Kingdom Hearts game after Melody of Memory. As of the Game, Melody of Memory Ansem the Wise mentioned that there are three realms in their realm that they can travel to where many of the KH worlds are explored throughout the series: The Realm of Light (where the majority of the Disney worlds and original worlds like Destiny Islands and Radiant Garden reside) The Realm of Darkness (Where the Realm of Darkness and where worlds that were destroyed by the Heartless end up in) The Realms Between (Where Twilight Town, Traverse Town, Land of Departure/Castle Oblivion and The Mysterious Tower reside) He also mentions the worlds of: Memories Dreams/The Realm of Sleep (Where many of the Disney Worlds that didn't return to the Realm of Light following Ansem Seeker of Darkness' defeat from Sora in the first game appear and also the Final World) Data/Datascapes (Consists of Data worlds from Jiminy Journal or the Book of Prophecies, The Tron worlds (Space Paranoids and the Grid) and Game Central Station (Wreck-It Ralph from Union χ) The Other Side/"Unreality" (The City of Quadratum) - The realm outside of their own reality The world of Game Central Station is one of the obvious Disney worlds to appear in the world of Quadratum (Unreality) likely retelling the events of Ralph Breaks the Internet given that the first film was already covered in Union χ. As of now, were not exactly sure what's going to be the main setting for world exploration in the next KH game it could be the "Unreality" (that Riku is going in), the Realm of Sleep from Dream Drop Distance or the Realm of Light (as Kairi is doing her Mark of Mastery training with Aqua). Other than Wreck-It Ralph, I also could see The Pixar worlds of Coco and Soul along with possibly Treasure Planet, Atlantis: The Lost Empire and the worlds based on the live-action remakes/reimaginings (e.g. Alice in Wonderland 2010, Maleficent, Mulan 2019, etc.) being possible Disney worlds found in "Unreality" for the next game, it just comes down to how Nomura and his team decide on which Disney and Pixar films they would choose as worlds for the next game, the environment the world can offer and how the world based on the film fits in the game in terms of story and themes cause they like to cherry pick certain Disney worlds. But what do you guys think?
  18. Now that the trailers for Encanto and Turning Red have come out here are my expectations on the following Disney films becoming worlds for the next KH games (including KH IV): Next KH game after (Melody of Memory): Ralph Breaks the Internet Coco Soul Inside Out Treasure Planet Atlantis: The Lost Empire Alice in Wonderland (2010 film) Maleficent Kingdom Hearts IV: Zootopia Raya and the Last Dragon or Encanto Onward The Incredibles Princess and the Frog Aladdin (returning world) Frozen II (returning world) Toy Story (returning world) Winnie the Pooh (returning world) Moana
  19. Disney and Pixar has released a trailer for their upcoming film, Turning Red. Not much their is to go by from the trailer as it's a teaser, and wether we get it as a world, but hey I Imagine Meillin Lee (in her Red Panda form) could be a unique summon for Sora.
  20. The trailer for Disney's Encanto has launched today giving us our first look of the film's setting (Madrigal House) and our protagonist Mirabel. It's too early to know about Mirabel's abilities and what to expect but I imagine this as a fun mini-game world in a future KH game.
  21. I know Union χ ended a month ago but so many things have happened that blew my mind and what has happened so here we go:
  22. Late to the party and a month old, but I also notice that the Wreck-It Ralph world has a possibility of returning for the next game (albeit retelling the sequel, Ralph Breaks the Internet) as shown in the ending for Union χ. Ephemer transports the Player (us) and the Darkness' to Game Central Station, while in the cord the player tell the other darknesses that we never were possessed by one of the darknesses or thought about joining them, we just wanted to trap them in the data world so they wouldn’t spread or cause more damage, now the darknesses including the player can not and never leave the data world, they are there left to die/dissapear. In addition the player locked Game Central Station to prevent the Darknesses from spreading.
  23. Hey everyone, sorry I haven't been on this site and active with the thread for a while. So many things had happen these past 3-4 months, but anyways I bringing the thread up to continue providing discussions relating to Raya and the Last Dragon, Luca, Jungle Cruise, Encanto, and other upcoming films as potential worlds for future KH games as the former two are now streaming on Disney+ and the latter two are coming soon to theaters. Speaking of Encanto, Disney released a poster of the upcoming film giving us a glimpse of the inside of the Magic Madrigal House and the animals (a Toucan, Macaw, Capybara, Butterflies and Hummingbirds). It's also expected that a trailer for the film will launch tomorrow.
