i just finished my playthrough of final fantasy 8 for my "all the numbered final fantasies before the end of the year" challenge, and in the ending i noticed that when squall seeing all that random stuff(which probably will give me nightmares tonight) it shows squall falling with his head tilted back in a massive light, i'm not 100% sure but to my recollection this looks like the part where squall gets stabbed by the crystal by Edea, I can't remember seeing anything about that on any of the articles and stuff but i just think that it really supports the whole "squall is dead" thing. Anyone else think this? just thought i'd share

well as all of us know Mickey is the disney protagonist(I do not mean the main protagonist) in KH and he is a keyblade master since the game is a crossover between disney & square it would be really cool and fair if they made at least one Final Fantasy character a keyblade wieldermaster alongside mickey if they couldn't made Leon(Squall) one for example(and I say EXAMPLE) they can use The most recent known character of the series in this gen.......(Note:this is an opinion not a fact or anything)..... Lightning From XIII & XIII-2 she can become a very nice keyblade wiledermaster with a keyblade based on her Blazefire Saber gunblade they can modify her old clothes from XIII to suit the series appearance and her keyblade armor could look like the Armor goddess Etro gave to her in XIII-2 with the heart logo on her shield instead of Etro's mark also they can give her a nice background ......like if she was one of yen sid's old students after maleficent's invasion on radiant garden and she became a wieldermaster in order to protect serah and radiant garden okay .....I'm not speaking out of fanboyism for a game or of rage on game.......I know that FF Characters act like guests but it would be nice to see at least 1 character from The Final Fantasy Series wielding a keyblade one wieldermaster from disney one wieldermaster from Final Fantasy that is fair to me and it won't hurt the series story to me so what do you think if you think that it's good if one character from Final Fantasy wields a keyblade say which character you want to be a wieldermaster and please please please no rage no troll no getting out of the topic thank you

Ok so from what ive heard, due to final fantasy XIII-2 and XIII Versus being in recent development, square enix has been busy. People have been raging about a FFVII remake for some time as well(especially after Crisis Core) It was actually said that after Versus and XIII-2 were done, they would "explore the possibillity" of a remake for FFVII. With this being said, i would think that would make them come down to a choice..Start working on Kingdom Hearts 3 or remake FFVII. What would you guys want first?

(Well that was too many f's...) Hello again everyone, TB2 here. So, I was looking over some random FF news (in the mood from playing Dissidia 012 for the past 48 hours and just hoping for a scrap of news for an overseas release of Type-0...) and I just thought I'd propose a discussion question to you all. What do you think future Final Fantasy characters will be/will be like in KH games? I foresee some sort of conclusion for the Cloud/Sephiroth story in 3 (if there's room for it...) or at least at some point. I don't think the others have much in the way of long-term stories. I doubt Nomura would fully bring in a Leon/Rhinoa story in fear that it would convolute the KH universe with too much FF-universe story (which he'd be right with). What I do foresee however is them either using another Disney-based world as a source of FF characters or using some yet-uncreated original world for another one. Right now we have Radiant Garden (Cid, Leon, Yuffie, Aerith), Olympus Coliseum (Cloud, Sephiroth, and Auron) and Destiny Islands (Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie). I can see them either using another original world as a base for more, or using another Disney-based world as a source. As far as who they'll bring in, I can definitely see Nomura introducing Lightning (FF XIII) in KH3 and maybe even Noctis (Versus XIII, depending on if they'll finish it before starting on KH3). I can also see something interesting with the Warrior of Light and/or Garland but that's probably just me hoping (WoL is my favorite character in the Dissidia series). Obviously most people's opinions on which characters will be brought in will be biased based on their favorites, but that's what this thread is kind of about: Who do you think will be in future installments, and how do you think they'll do it? All in all, my personal vote is going for another new world, most likely Disney-based, and with both the newest FF characters (Lightning, Noctis, etc.) and the oldest (Warrior of Light, Firion, etc.)

Sorry, but this is going to be off topic sorta. I just figured lots of Final Fantasy players are on this site so I'll just ask. Should I play FF13 or FF13-2? I know I shouldn't be asking you guys because you'll say stuff like "research it yourself" or something, but I trust everyone here and not people on ign because of the score KH2 received (and other reasons)...those bastards, but anyway I want to ask what people think of the games. I know lots of people hated 13 but I've heard 13-2 was better and vice versa. So, would anyone recommend either of the two? I want to know the flaws and strengths of them. Now I don't want every single one, just ones that bug you or things you really like about it. Big things. Thanks!

So now that the rhythm game Theatrhythm Final Fantasy will have the same name as its Japanese counterpart. I think that Bravely Default might be called Final Fantasy Dimensions when its localized. Think about it, they only trademarked the name in North America and Europe, they never revealed much, and the game is a spin-off like The 4 Heroes of Light. It would make sense, especially since the game has something to do with dimensions and the American and European people mostly wouldn't know what Bravely Default is, only hardcore gamers really would. Most people wouldn't think SE made it, or something. This definitely can't be a secret game. Nomura said there wouldn't be a new Dissidia, so I can't see a game like it. What do you think? Remember that this is not official, so don't say how I confirmed it! I swear if I hear that one more time I will scream. It's annoying!

Square Enix Europe announced that Theatrythm Final Fantasy will be coming to Europe in the Summer to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the series! :DD I for one am extremely happy as I love the music in Final Fantasy and this game just looks really fun to play

I was watching the gamespot review for Final Fantasy XIII and the host said something peculiar to me. He said "...by the time you're free to choose any role, there's no reason to spend points in them. You end up just spending points on low level upgrades when you can use them for much more powerful enhancements" What did he mean by that, I just wanna make sure I haven't been doing anything wrong. Also, when I get Disc 1 and 2 back and start a new game on my Xbox Live profile I wanna make sure i'm doing everything right this time

Why is Tetsuya Nomura and his team taking too long on the development, I know they're working on the real-time rendering and visual works pre-rendered cg, but Its been like 5 or 6 years already. Do they want the game so perfect or what and still no new trailer! I want the game already! If they keep this up, they might as well cancel the development!

I'm really getting upset about this game. It looks great, it plays great, but no word on NA release! Anybody else hyped/depressed/excited for this game? Anybody play the demo of it? It's downloadable on the PSP in Japanese, but it works on English systems.

There are two demos for this game. The new one slipped in under the radar in November. It is the actual opening of the game and it allows you to play to the midway point of the chapter. It's in Japanese, so dialogue will be lost to the non native speakers, but it is great fun. It's features are... World Map travel Conquest mode A collesium with endless grunts ALL 14 PLAYABLE CHARACTERS The characters will be able to be fully leveled up and gain new abilities. For example, my Deuce is Lv. 30 and knows White Sonata and Concerto. Chocobos A Growth Egg for easier leveling up (It appears as a golden accessory It is a lot of fun; I've already put in many hours to it! It's an easy and free download for anyone with any region PSP, so even if you've never played Final Fantasy, it might be worth a checking out. It's worth 757 MB.
