There's a subsect of 2 fans that will only ever love 2. Maybe they played the other games. Maybe they're a real fan. But they are only ever gonna have the capacity to love 2. Otherwise I actually think KH2 fans are gonna latch onto KH4 as something like, "this is what KH3 SHOULD have been" and i guarantee you that will be an exact quote a year plus out from now.

Oh yeah I remember hearing people dunk on KH2 horribly back in the day despite all the success. Nowadays it's considered the best game in the franchise. XP

I fear the KH2 comparisons will be worse

Yeah. I'm only going in assuming we'll get what we see from the trailers or Nomura's interviews. Considering this is the first game in the new saga and we not only have plenty of different plotlines and new and old characters to explore. I'm not expecting everything to even be seen in KH4. I'm not even going to be surprised if we don't see Yozora or at least until the very end and he's still barely been explored as a character up close until KH5.

Bahamut fight is still one of the coolest fights ever made, every boss fight felt like a finale of its own.

I think people that hate 3 are gonna like this game which is gonna make them hate 3 harder which will make 3 fans defend 3 more toxically lol

I just know there's a lot of expectations riding on this game.

That sound like final game in this saga - which I love. Cause they're all my favorites and have been here since the start. I know we're getting there to all 6 of them in our party. Any day (many days probably).

Well I guess it's always an experiment in the end. I'm sure we will still get a decent amount of Disney worlds - at least 6 I'm assuming - and all will be varied. Considering KH4 script is twice as long as KH3 I'm sure that can lend to the idea of many worlds to explore.

But maybe we'll get that in Kingdom Hearts 6 lmao

Ideally I'd like to see Sora with Donald and Goofy and with Riku and Kairi + Mickey

Okay KH2 gave us Sora+Riku duo vs end boss fight. KH3 Remind gave us Sora+Kairi duo vs end boss fight. Let KH4 be the game where Destiny Trio vs end boss fight. Please Nomura let Riku and Kairi have their own tag team signature attack.

Yeah but its gonna have the 3 problem of "why is this world in here", the ones that folks feel don't do enough new or follow the movie of origin too closely are gonna be harsher/more critical of it. Unlike other games where due to variety it was less of an issue.

Oswald is my biggest desire.
