The cutscene direction is insane for HD2D and I so badly wish all the Visions and Summons were in this style rather than just normal 3D animation

Like don't get me wrong, its a pretty fun game altogether

Asano games peaked regarding story for me with the gay shit in OT2

asano games are always gameplay first for me

it just doesn't bother me because I don't really play these games for the story

nah I absolutely agree with the dialogue and voice xD

they use a different US studio for recording compared to Remake and they don't do the extra mile to participate in the recordings. That's why the english one isn't great. JP dub is a lot better

i haven't done anything outside of the tutorial fight so the fact that rains VA bothered me that much is scary to me but hopefully the rest of it carries it for me

This is a good game so far, minus some weird things, but I still want a mainline game with a bigger budget.

And before Liftea says it, this is not what I want for a mainline turn based game. I still want something more.

at least with the other asano games the dialogue writing was not gacha levels of bad i guess lol

Thankfully the story is decent enough and the gameplay is fun
