Personally i dont like it.

 

I just played the original Kingdom Hearts, so it was pretty weird hearing Sora's voice with it being so much older. However, I think Hayley Joel Osment did a good job with the voice acting. The lines seem to have a lot more expression than they do in KH and KH2. My only complaint would be that the pitch of his voice sounds too different from KH.

Pft sure, his a good actor, im not denying that.

He just sounds like a 30 year old..

Don't yell at me. I Like KHII Sora's Or more Mature, Sora voice alot more better.

Well, I did was Dchiuch did. I just beat the first kingdom Hearts. So it like really surprised me when i heard his vioce for the first time. But I got use to it. The voice acting is a lot better then 1 and 2 to me. There's a lot more emotion in his voice.

sora sounds exactly as he should for chain of memories, and therefore he sounds better. you have to accept that haley joel osmond is aging, so there's no possible way for him to have a lighter, "tweener" voice. also, if square had decided to choose a different V.A for sora, say a younger V.A, i would be devastated.

I think it's kinda funny. Sora hit puberty while running over those hills.

They could have kept Haley and digitally altered his voice. For example, they could have made the pitch higher.

yes, but that just wouldn't be accurate for CoM, and i would feel like they weren't using haley at all. i never was a fan of digitally "enhanced" voices.

I thought it was funny. Like most people say, he hit puberty right as he went through the door.

But I didn't really care because of the fact haley was getting older. I thought he did a good job.

They should have just found someone younger. I love Haley voicing Sora, but for the younger Sora it just seemed weird.

What would be sad though, is that if when they were making it, they actually tried to make him sound younger... o. o;;;

I thought that it was a little strange. I'm not saying that the voice acting is horrible or anything, it was great really. But Sora sounded much older and he really should've. I know that Haley is getting older and all that jazz, but to have his KHII voice with KH Sora seemed off.

honestly, i liked sora's voice. mainly because i just finished replaying kh2 prior to playing khrecom. and before my sister carelessly sold kh, i played kh for awhile and it took me awhile to get used to sora's annoying kh voice.

I thought it was just fine. You don't really know how long he could have been searching for over those hills - it's never stated, so it could have been months and months and Sora, being a fourteen year old, could have had his voice break over that time. Though in contrast to CoM, where they used spliced voices from KH, it's a little different.

 

In more realistic terms, I'm glad they stuck with Haley since he's awesome. Plus he really did try to put a bit of a sqeak into Sora's voice in Re: CoM, which is noticeable if you compare it to Sora's voice in KHII.

i think its ok,i like it..whether in KH,CoM,or KHII..although i think the Jap ver is much better..

 

my sister was playing KH,the fight with Riku(Ansem) at Hollow Bastion,during the cutscene..

and for no reason,my sister just add:I thought they were mad!

me:Haley Joel Osment.............wait a sec!! no wonder that sounds familiar!

LOL! its the same person who voiced Mowgli!(Jungle Book 2,above is his line..)

 

if Sora ever going visit Jungle Book,Baloo gonna be so confuzzled..

I like Sora's voice in KHII, but only because its in respect of the fact its a year later, so his voice would get deeper. But Re:CoM was a let down, because the syncing was horrible, and his voice was totally different from KH1.

I liked his voice in all the games. I found it especially funny when his voice would crack in ReCoM.

I liked Haley did try to make his voice sound younger, and it would have been pretty bad if they had to recast another actor like with Kairi and Namine that said I actually prefered Megan's performance over Britaney and Alison did a great a great job of Kairi and I loved David as Riku he really did his best as Riku here

I think I'm the only one that liked Sora's whiny voice in KH1...

I ALWAYS LOVED his voice (of course Haley has a GREAT voice!)

and plus, it wouldnt be fair to Hayley to not voice Sora if he was willing to do so!

Of course, it would make sence to have his voice sound slightly older (DONT FORGET, even videogame characters grow up) who knows? he could have hit puberdy overnight and his voice matured (kinda)

I liked his voice 83 .. it was cute!

I agree with Digimoon... but does nobody else like Sora's voice from KH1?
