Do you think we've been waiting '10 years'? Or have we really been waiting since E3 2013? Or have we been waiting since DDD?

 

With DDD releasing it was evident that KH3 was going to be a thing, we just never had an official announcement.

 

When Versus 13 was being developed in 2007, Nomura stated he couldn't work on two huge projects at once (That's a big fat lie now *cough FF7 remake), but he never says "KH3 will never happen"

 

. A programmer, having heard of Nomura's intentions to add air ships to the game, remarked "Is this Kingdom Hearts III?". Ge-maga followed up by confirming the development of a new Kingdom Hearts game. Nomura responded by saying that it would be impossible to work on two huge projects at once, so he hopes to get started on the next Kingdom Hearts game after having accumulating know-how from Versus XIII.

With KH3 it was a matter of when, we knew it was going to happen since DDD made it apparent that it was leading up to something huge, plus KH1FM was being brought to the West within 1.5. You could tell that it was coming, but we just didn't know how long it would be.

 

I was too distracted by all the other spin offs to even think about KH3, I didn't even know about any of this Versus 13 business until I joined this site to be honest.

 

 

 

 

I have been waiting for KH3 since 2006 December 5 I started playing KH2 for the first time around 8 PM I believe... I am nerd oké

2012/2013 I guess. I'm in a lot of other fandoms and have stuff going on so It hasn't been a bad wait

 

Technically when I finished KH2, but I was 7 or so.

Ever since I thought birth by sleep was kh 3

The first game i played was KH2, i borrowed it from a friend back then, i liked it so much i bought myself kh1 and chain of memories for gba. after that i pretty much forgot about it over time until i saw the kh3 announcement trailer back at e3 2013 and remembered what an awesome game it was. but i remember really wanting to know how it will continue after the scene with the letter from micky in kh2. so basically 10 years, since i didnt know there were any games despite of the ones i mentioned until 2013 because i never really followed gaming media. since then i picked up and played every kh game except DDD because i was speculating on an HD remaster and my waiting was rewarded. people closely following kh since its beginning must have had it hard with all the tease games up until now, my wait was a little more chill i guess

but iam a very unpatient person so the last 3 years literally killed me inside.

For far too long... I'm just glad that the long period of nothingness is finally coming to an end now that more updates about KH3 are coming in~ I'm so pumped for 2.8 that I can actually hold on for a while longer
