Once, long ago, the Gods helped the world. They often visited from their home above the clouds to interact with the Elves, Humans, and Greys that lived short and fragile lives on the surface. They helped them develop into their very first villages and cities and nations.

There were the Elves, regal and graceful, one with nature, that lived in the deep forests of the east. They built their lifestyles to revolve around the planet, harmony being the core principle. Elves with their attunement to the world, developed a natural skill for magic. The Gods loved the Elves because of their harmonious nature, and their wish to protect the planet on which they all lived.

The Greys on the other hand, lived in the fiery lava fields of the south, inhospitable to the other races, but pleasantly warm for the Greys. The Greys were a people bound by war. They lived separated, loyal to their clan. They were battle-hungry and blood-thirsty, almost all obsessed with the idea of getting stronger. The Clans often warred with each other for pure enjoyment. The Greys are an incredible people, naturally stronger than the other races. The Gods loved the Greys because of the bold and prideful way they acted.

Humans are the most common. They have a thirst for exploration, a natural curiosity. They rapidly filled the rest of the world, adapting to each surrounding with no problem, filling the tropical west, the central plains, and the freezing north. Humans are naturally skilled with their hands, being the best craftsmen as well as the best adventurers due to their instinctual exploring tendencies. Humans are incredibly varied as well, coming in all shapes, sizes and colors. The Gods loved the Humans because of their variety and pluck.

For hundreds of years, the Gods have been nearly non-existent in the world. They so rarely interacted with the inhabitants of the world that they were often thought of as legends.  The Gods were disconnected. The only ones that continued the ancient tradition of fervent god-worshipping were the Dalians of the West. Technology and civilization advanced to new states without the Gods, and all thought that we no longer needed them. Even elderly elves who remembered still the time of Gods decided that the world had been abandoned, and that there was no point to looking up to them any longer. The races rarely interacted, keeping to themselves mostly. Three individual nations of humans formed, the Imperial Xha of the Northern Plains, the Dalians of the Western Coast, and the Kingdom of Kele of the Central Desert. The world did not stop for the gods.

But now that has changed. Two years ago, the gods came back in a sudden and furious way, that of the warpath. They swiftly conquered Xha, the whole empire falling in just a few days. Soon after that, revolutions spread across the whole world. The Dalians, joyful that their gods had returned, swiftly turned the leading of their government and forces over to Dayben, the King of the Gods. The country from thenceforth became known as the Theocracy of Dayben. The King of Kele was assassinated by his brother, Aleksandr, and the heir Nikolai was forced out. Soon afterwards Aleksandr essentially allowed Dayben full authority, though Aleksandr was left in his position.

The Greys in their warlike clans could not be so easily crushed. But regardless, clan after clan fell to the infinitely more powerful gods. The Greys were enslaved and put into labor camps for no other reason than to crush their rebellious spirits. Only the most powerful clans remain unsubjugated, and there are whispers of a demonic cave that might provide the answers that they need.

The Elves had already been embroiled in a time of terrible political tension, and it took only a few whispers and some strategic moves and the Elves were all at each others throats, divided into factions of rebels led by Vey and traditionalists led by Queen Trisn. The elderly elf Shub has been making efforts to convince them that they are fighting for no reason, but has had no luck yet.

This is the world of Rise of the Fallen. Be sure to read topics pertaining to your characters in the spoilers that are coming next.

Magic:

Magic in this world is abundant, not something to be coveted or forbidden. Elves are the most likely to be skilled in it, since their lengthened lifespans allow for longer periods of study, but all races are capable of using it. Magic can be imbued in items for various effects, though these effects always require a keyword to activate. Magic can be produced from the body rather than from an item through the use of a spoken spell. These spells and item effects can range from anything like mowing the lawn automatically to summoning a meteor from the sky.

Technology:

Technology in this world is approximately that of renaissance times in our world. Guns are rudimentary at best, but they are functional. Most still use swords, spears, crossbows, and armor over later iterations of military ideals, but there are some who use guns and if they are skilled, are just as effective. Medical science is in a time of transition into more physical and learned methods, but most still use the skills of a magic healer over the expertise of a doctor.

Dalians:

Dalians live on the coast and their environment can most easily be likened to that of tropical islands like those in the Caribbean. It can be stormy and humid, but otherwise is a prime vacation spot. The people there are near entirely absorbed in their worship of the gods, especially now that they have returned. The culture and architecture is similar to that of Greco-Roman in our world.

Kele:

Kele is in the desert and thus life is not fun. Their life is perpetuated only by their strategic use of oases, abundant mineral resources underneath the sands, and trading caravans powered by camels. The higher class here live lives of luxury and never want for anything, but the poor are often subject to bandit raids and a cycle of poverty that has had no sign of breaking in a very long time. King Aleksandr has changed nothing, and has a very very large bounty out on Prince Nikolai, but no one has had luck yet. Their culture and architecture can be likened to that of medieval Europe.

Xha:

Xha is nothing but ruins of a once great empire. The capital still burns, and many large towns are nothing but destroyed. On occasion patrols of gods will go through the place and play with any stragglers. The people there are lonely and isolated, imagine almost a post-apocalyptic scenario. Once before the gods were here, imagine a culture and architecture similar to East Asia. But now, it's nothing but rubble.

Elves:

The Elven Woods of the east have become a war zone these past two years, nothing but conflict resounding through the treetop villages. Many desire no more conflict, but many others will fight to the death for the ideals they stand for. Vey believes that Trisn has been toxic to their kingdom, that her policies regarding no interaction with the outside world lead nowhere for the elves and that they will doom them. Trisn seeks only to keep her kingdom safe from outside influence. Each portrays the other as a monster to their followers, and the conflict seems incapable of ending anytime soon, unless Shub can find some help somewhere, and prove that the war is the gods' fault. Elves live for upwards of a thousand years, but not much later than that. Rumors speak of an ancient power that took advantage of the elven attunement to nature that allowed elves to fight gods.

Greys:

The Grey Lava Fields are just that, lava fields. Volcanoes erupt frequently, and the whole area is filled with dead or dying vegetation. There are packs of animals that allow Greys to hunt and survive. That, and their natural tolerance for harsh environments and Greys have found their home to just as habitable as anywhere else. There are a few large labor camps, and though other clans wish to free the race, they are often too busy fighting off constant attacks by gods. There is a cave that legend speaks leads to the Underworld that may still help the Greys come back. Greys are often named like Native Americans are stereotypically speaking. Things like Roaring Wind or Raging River are typical Grey names. Greys are also gifted a weapon on their 12th birthday, and this becomes their weapon for life, until it breaks or they die. Losing the weapon is extremely disgraceful. Legends speak of Greys who could pass their souls into their weapon, and become on par with gods. Their lifespans are not much longer than humans, but they do not become elderly. Rather, when they are old, they still retain physical strength of youth. Greys are named for their ashen gray skin.

Humans:

Humans are gifted craftsmen, merchants, etc. Their skill comes from a place of bright ideas and ingenuity. They live as long as humans typically do in our modern age, the lifespan of medieval times not a thing because of magic healers. Humans have their own myths about humans who wield their life energy as power and became as powerful as gods.

Gods:

Gods are transcendant. They are immortal as far as anyone has ever known. They can be hurt, even defeated, even apparently killed, but they will always be back. They wield powers that magicians would have to spend centuries in order to learn casually, and they are incredibly strong. The motive behind Dayben's invasion of the world is unknown as of yet, even among his closest advisors, but he definitely has a reason, and he will not relent on crushing any signs of rebellion against his regime. Dayben and his Queen Ashelia did not become rulers by birthright, but rather through power. And if any dare challenge either for their position, they are welcome to, but it is unlikely they will make it very far. Most Gods have abandoned their cities in the clouds and rather reside on earth, whether it's in the rubble of Xha or in the luxurious mountaintop palaces built on the border of Dalia and Xha/Kele.

Now you my friends, are the Fallen. You've been crushed, but not broken. Beaten down, but not defeated. And it is time that you rise.

Rules:

1. No godmodding, this means autohitting, controlling another's character, being absurdly powerful, and mass slaughter are all off limits.

2. Do not kill any one else's character without their permission. I do encourage character death as a way to advance plot and character lines though.

3. Try to stay within the confines of the world I have built while making your own characters and tales. I seek to encourage world-building without things getting too insane with space deities or new races.

4. Grammar is important, and since I've rped with most people, you're likely fine. If I know that there's a problem then I'll pm you and give you a chance to change your style, but I will not outright deny your characters. If it remains a problem in game I will ask you to leave though.

5. Interact with characters and NPCs and build tales that you will enjoy and others will remember. And most of all have fun with it. I will make considerable efforts to involve everyone that I can through the use of NPCs, but if you consistently go out of your way to be alone, there's not a whole lot I can do to help you out.

6. Be sure to follow KH13 rules as a whole, which includes no graphic sexual imagery. Also respect everyone please, I don't need people picking fights with each other.

Author's Note:

This was going to be a stat based RP but I am beginning to realize that that is way too much work. So instead I took the setting and repurposed it for freeform. You'll also have noted the existence of ancient legends of the races being able to fight against gods. DO NOT put this ability in your character sheet. It is something that will be exposed and taught in the RP. Thank you, and please enjoy. If you have interest in playing one of the NPCs I have already mentioned in the OP then please PM me and we can talk it over.

Name:Seth Astreal

Age:18

Gender:Male

Race:Human

Appearance (don't sweat it if you can't find an image of gray skinned people, just use a regular image and say they have gray skin):

FACE

Clothing: Wears a black-with-blue-trim collared, sleeveless sweatshirt and tank top. Designed on the back of the sweater is an emblem of a gear. Wears a dark blue drab and black pants, a gear-buckled belt, a ring on his left middle finger crafted like a skull, and a gold earring stud with a blue gem in the middle.

Gear Emblem (Blue and White)

gear-arrow-24798339.jpg

Abilities (this includes magic, godly powers, or assorted abnormal skills):

-Conduit-

Able to absorb and manipulate both artificial (magic created by other people) or natural elements of magic (including fire, ice, and thunder).

First abilities include channeling Fire, Ice, and Thunder

Later on, can Channel Water, Stone, Metal and Posion

Late game, can Channel Life Force (of living things), Pure Energy (like atomic forces), Creation (Spells that craft items with abnormal properties) and Divine Element (like light and darkness)

CANNOT CHANNEL Magic spells that require mind-to-mind communication (i.e. Spells that initiate telekinesis, hypnosis, etc.,), spells that animate inanimate objects (i.e. throwing swords, making puppets dance) and spells that

require a draining amount of life force or energy

THE TOLL on Seth is a temporary sluggishness throughout the body and crippling of the arm he absorbs with. Effective anywhere between 15 minutes to an hour depending on the spell's intensity, uniqueness, and effect (Such as amount of people it hits, side effects, etc.)

SETH HIMSELF CANNOT CONJURE MAGIC, EVEN IF HE CHANTS THE SPELL. He will always require external sources.

Weapons (Greys use only a single weapon, make note of whether this is the weapon they've had since the ritual or not):

Recensere

Merely a piece of scrap metal that Seth found within a peddler's shop. It is a silver hilt of a blade long since shattered, with a golden gem in the middle of the blade, gold-colored aluminum fins, and a red and black ribbon wrapped around the shaft. The Recensere has holes throughout itself that Seth can channel elemental magic through, acting as a sword, a greatsword, a katana, or a shiruken.

Personality:

Seth isn't a tough nut to crack; he's clearly expressive and straightforward when it comes to his emotions. Taken as that may be, he does try to seem much more mysterious and cool than he actually is. Seth definitely minds a challenge, as he is adamant about besting situations he doesn't always seem fit for, and reaching out of his comfort zone in everything but how he feels. This especially comes through in his cooking, where most of the time his meals are delicious, but when he gets adventurous is when things may go wrong... Conversely, his new ideas lead him to invent or propose to others things to invent or fix, as he's well versed in the atmosphere of weapons and armor crafting in advanced human society.

Seth disdains authority and the divine, and will try anything in his power to refute and disprove that there is any form of fate that rules the lives of people. He never gets hung up on stuff that can be fixed; "If there's a way to make it work, why bother stressing? Fix it!"

Bio:

Seth understands and empathizes with tragedy, but he himself has led a normal life in human civilization. He's toiled through life in the city, having to learn how to deal with urban life. In it, he became a blacksmith by day, crafting his own weapon and enhancing weapons, ancient or new, and his own connoisseur by night, shopping and cooking different foods and trying exotic recipes, sometimes with an unwanted twist. Growing up, he was actually very rebellious and mischievous despite his intelligence,

Miscellaneous:

Seth loves, in hobby, to cook and music. Singing, dancing, and overall performances enchant him.

I really need to join this!

I will bring my favorite crazy, emotional detached elf, Rabs, into this conflict, before she got her most destructive magic spells and all kinds of artifacts.

But I will do it in the morning because I'm very tired right now xD

EDIT: Ok! I did it. Now to wait.

Name: Eliltari

Age: 495

Gender: Female

Race: Elf

Appearance:

zhFkKg7.png

Abilities: Wields a vast repertory of elemental magics, both for Offensive or Defensive situations. Mostly stays with the "good" side of magic, but other elves say that the Lady of the Mist is far gone into the deeps of dark magic that she could destroy a while city or rise the dead with forbidden spells.  She also has the ability of psychokinesis

Weapons: Bows, swords and daggers.

Personality: Emotional detached to mostly everyone she meets, not because she sufferes from it, but because it let her take choices without getting emotionally attached to something or someone. She can be a little strange sometimes, talking with herself or saying things bluntly. She can be caring with those who she deem her friends and would give her life to protect those people. She was a happy-go-lucky girl in her youth, but she slowly realized that the world was changing and so she had to change too.

Bio: Eliltari was born and raised in the Elven Woods by her both her parents. She was the last of 3 siblings and the only female in the family besides her mother. She admired her father and her brothers for being part of the guard who protected the Queen, but there was a day when they did not come back, one by one they perished on the battlefield, leaving Eliltari and her mother by themselves. Eliltari learned magic from her mother, and later in her life she decided to join the guard. She was excellent wielding swords and a prodigy sharpshooter when a bow was in her hands. In recent years she had noticed strange things around the Queen and those close to her, there was also the fact that the Princess lost her way of speaking. Maybe the Queen, or someone close to her, could not be trusted. Perhaps the Princess was right all along. Eliltari wants to find the answers to those questions.

Miscellaneous: In secret she is a pretty good craftswoman who makes magical items such as weapons and armors, also simple yet beautiful accessories to sell to help support her mother. There is also the fact that her cloak can change into mist, and that earned her the nickname of "Lady of the Mist"

Accepted! hop in whenever/wherever you like!

"To think I once thought gods and men could walk among each other, to live alongside one another peacefuly...but it turns out they are just like us, humans and elves. Scheming bastards who only wish to further their own needs, killing and destroying other people's lives in order to do so...I was a fool to think that way...not anymore."

Character Sheet:

Name: Tolan Cruz.

Age: 64

Gender: Male

Race: Grey

Appearance:

3TBDYae.jpg

Tolan and his Granddaughter...before the gods attacked.

Under the coat he has a large scar over his right cheek, grey-ish black hair due to age, he appears to be a medium-to heavy build. Very very fit, even for a Grey, and his age.

Abilities: "Moonlight's crescent magic"

"This blasted thing, that binds me to this world, its what these so called 'gods' bestowed upon me and my clan, and exactly what I will use to wipe them out..."

Tolan and those of his small clan wield a special kind of magic, inherited through generations of rituals and communication with the "Moon lord" A god which had disappeared along with the others...Called the "Luna clan" Who paid homage to the moon and its magic.

Tolan's magic is not exactly moonlight, it feels holy in its essence and may be confused with a holy energy, but it is far from holy, in fact. It is PURE magic. It is only called Moonlight's crescent. Because of its coloration and the fact that when the moon hangs over the sky, its power increases drasticaly, however it is still very powerful during the day and out of the light of the moon. Tolan always showed an affinity with the magic ever since a young age.

Tolan may use this moonlight as a multi-use sort of spell, to cast powerful magic against his enemies, teleport himself, teleport others, project items and other things with Moonlight, and many other uses. Tolan may use it to complement his physical combat prowess as well as his ranged combat skills, and even his hunting skills. By enhancing his perception time and reflexes for a time, all with the right ammount of concentration of power. Moonlight however, like the rare silver is especially effective against non-human beings such as monsters, ghosts or even gods. Allowing Tolan to strike them and lay grevious wounds upon them, as the moonlight will sear their wounds

Hunter instincts: Tolan used to be a great hunter in his prime, and the hunter sense stuck with him throughout his age. Tolan can track targets accross the land easily, predict where they will be and spot them from afar. However this is only visual, none of it is extra-sensory. Unlike Henry's.

Weapons: He once wielded the greatsword known as "Sancti's greatblade"

Once a holy sword gifted to him upon the ritual. broken in the battle against the moon gods, replaced with the "Moonlight Greatsword" from their leader. Destroyed his blade against the god, and took the god's weapon as his own. Amplifying his own powers.

The Moonlight Greatsword

Ad8Mvll.jpg

Heavy, durable, sharp, and pure magical. The sword does a mix of Physical damage and magical damage on each attack. Capable of bypassing heavy defenses of both, unless the target is resistant to both types. The sword can fire projectiles with some slashes, create magical explosions that harm all around it except the user. Create a "Moonlight Vortex" that damages and slows all enemies caught in a 10m radius.

Definitely not a sword to play around with.

Personality: No bullshit, old man type. Tolan cares little for authority figures, only doing what he thinks is right by himself and his friends and loved ones. He is rather blunt, rude and silent to whoever he doesn't know or doesn't trust. However as one warms up to him he will become more friendly, caring and thoughtful. Loyal to a fault as well.

Tolan however is griped with a lust for vengeance against the gods after the death of his granddaughter, his only family left. He swore vengeance against them, and will not rest until he slays every god there is to slay. If he sees a god, regardless if its friendly or not, expect hostility.

Bio: A proud high ranking member of the 'moon' clan of the Greys, The moon clan lived in perfect view of the moon, such is the name of the clan. The land in which they lived was not prone to lava eruptions, however the land was still harsh to live in, having to live off of hunting and trading, no aggriculture was ever possible, so the people drifted to other matters of importance and learned them.

Like battle, Strategy, hunting and the like. Tolan learned all of them throughout his years, being a loyal member of the clan throughout his entire life, ever since his weapon ritual, serving as a valuable member of the clan.

Him and his people venerated the moon and its gods, being gifted with the Moonlight magic was the greatest blessing of all, or so they thought, until the gods attacked.

In one fell swoop the entire Moon clan was devastated, warriors dying to the gods, led by the so called "Moon lord". Tolan led the resistance against the gods, in a long struggle for power over the village. It was in that battle that Tolan's Granddaughter 'Anna' died at the hands of one of the gods, before he could come to her rescue, this tragedy has stuck with him until today. Him and his men slayed every god to the last of the invaders, confronting the moon lord himself and battling him to the death.

Miraculously, Tolan survived the ordeal, and emerged victorious, but his blade broken...he took the god's weapon, the "Moonlight Greatsword" and set off to help the other clans and the world against the gods...swearing vengeance.

An energy sword whose base is its only tangible feature. An omega (normal) META shoots a beam of energy that emulates the size, weight, and power of a particular weapon, becoming one of four things (a shiruken, a longsword, a greatsword, or a katana). Energy channeled from Seth can influence the META's physical and visual properties.

Despite his seemingly ill fate, he has become a reputable technological engineer, fixing and tweaking any gadget he's come across successfully.

Miscellaneous:

Seth loves, in hobby, to cook and to listen to music. He also loves video games, secretly ones with an enchanting love story

Alright, so it appears to me you've misunderstood the level of technology in this world. You made references to gadgets, video games, enginerring, etc. all of which are kind of above the current level of technology in the world. Your weapon in particular is a problem, given that I assume it's scientific based on what you've said. If it were magical, it's capabilities would be completely fine, I just don't want tech to be so advanced. And while I'm mentioning problems, it's worth noting that the modern school system is nonexistent.

While reworking your character I'd ask that you remember that this is placed in a time period similar to our late medieval times, approaching the renaissance. And please don't take this as a critique of your writing, or me saying I don't want you, I just want the character to fit in with the world I've built, and for any misunderstanding you might have had to be cleared up.

CRUCIFY HER.

....hmmmmmmm...let me answer the question of if I wish to join or not like this:

Character Sheet:

Name: Anthony Hackett

Age: 37 (Ageing has ceased.)

Gender: Male

Race: Human (Physically Corrupted)

Appearance:

artorias_by_lensar-d5x2mrzpng_zps5b09584

Abilities:

Symbiotic Darkness: Unlike some would hope, this form of Darkness is totally impure and corrupts its users completely. This kind of power is understandably not used by the majority of people in this world, desperate measures or not, but Anthony did not make the choice to use the power; It was forced upon him. The use of Symbiotic Darkness, even in minor, infrequent usage, deeply affects the user in both body and spirit, so one can imagine what it would be like to be forced to bathe in this power. Anthony is blessed with great power but at considerable cost, as while he can freely manipulate dark energy, Darkness and the Shadows themselves, both via the typical fumes/flame-like auras or liquid shadows, his very being has been torn apart and defiled, his spirit crushed and forced to adapt to his new existence of perpetual pain and suffering. His body is capable of taking blows that would kill most men, given enough time to recover, he can heal from them, but the time required to do so practically requires him to be out of combat.

Anthony no longer ages, thus he will never die of natural causes, instead he can only be killed in combat, though he does not object to the notion, his existence is one he wishes to be free of. For ease of travel, he can also make himself into a weightless Shadow Wraith to move faster and reach higher locations, this is possible due to his body being torn apart at the deepest level and it being held together by the very power that broke him. Doing this causes him even more pain, and even with his abnormally high threshold for it, he has to revert back some time just to make it stop or at least ease off, especially in combat where only a few seconds of usage could be considered sensible. This man wishes to just die so his torment can end, yet part of him, possibly a side of his mind either drunk on the power or his strong will, knows that with time, patience and training, he can control this power and make it his own. Currently, his power is unfocused and draining, any projectiles (Darkness Orbs, Dark Energy Waves etc.) are wild in appearance and their damage is spread out inefficiently, along with his combat style being animalistic and without the grace he used to possess.

Weapons: The Greatsword pictured with him. Once simply named: Valiance. After his corruption, the tainted blade is now called: Precipice of Despair.

Personality: Abrasive, cold, to-the-point and dark, Anthony is a far cry from his former self of nobility and even a positive attitude, though he has every reason to be so. Possessing a dry and snarky sense of humour, coupled with his bluntness, he never beats around the bush and won't hesitate to criticise the actions and mistakes of others, yet while he seems to do so cruelly and/or for his own amusement, he genuinely still has the best interests of others in mind, though he'll be very unlikely to speak it aloud. In many ways, combat is all he has left now, so he embraces this completely, whereas before he went into combat simply to fight off an opposition, he now takes delight in the action, seeking to fight powerful opponents and revelling in every exciting moment, he himself citing it as the only thing that makes him feel alive anymore.

Bio: In the past, Anthony was a noble Knight of Xha, always adhering to his code and duty and his will never wavered, his loyalty to the Emperor never in question. He even had a family, with a loving wife and a young son, expecting another child soon even. He had always been interested in the Gods, often wondering why they were seemingly inconsequential now and if they'd ever be seen again...they would and not in the way he or others could have ever imagined. They did not hesitate, nor did they show mercy, wish to negotiate or give an opportunity for surrender...the Imperial Empire of Xha was decimated within a matter of days...by the very Gods that he was curious about. With all his might, he tried to defend his homeland, but it was futile. His attempts to protect the Emperor were futile and his efforts to save his family were to no avail and they perished in the chaos.

His rage against the Gods was at breaking point, causing him to attempt to face off against them in combat to avenge all that had fallen. His feeble attempts to kill the Gods was met with a crushing defeat, his armour damaged, his body near-fatally wounded and his sword chipped and cracked from the strain. As he lay on the ground amidst the ruins of the Empire, a particularly sadistic and cruel God approached him; A God of Darkness and Shadow. Instead of granting him the swift release of death, the God sentenced Anthony to something far worse. With a quiet incantation followed by a violent expulsion of Darkness, Anthony was enveloped in a consuming, corrupting shadowy embrace, his blood quickly and painfully replaced with liquid shadow, his body torn apart at the seams, his soul subjugated and tainted and his whole being forever changed. Leaving him to convulse on the ground, the God of Darkness was quite pleased with themselves.

Emerging from the remaining shadow a broken and disillusioned man, donned in a darker armour that was now essentially a part of him, he took up his blade that too had been submerged in the abyss and took to wandering the world. His anger great still against the Gods, his powers a blessing and a curse...yet he still could not exact his revenge, he would just be beaten again. Anthony has been left without an Empire to serve, no duty to uphold, no one to love and worse still: No purpose. Now he seeks either the easy way: Death. Or if he's lucky, which he's not at all convinced he can be anymore, something to give him that drive, that purpose...that push he needs to finally mean something again. Only then, can he grow stronger and serve a greater purpose...and one day, he will get his revenge.

Miscellaneous: Anthony doesn't need food or drink anymore, it just breaks down inside him and provides no nutrition, he just drinks for the satisfaction. For clarification, while he was corrupted by a God, he is not a God or a Demigod himself, he is a Corrupted Human. He harbours an intense hatred for the Gods and even benevolent Gods are met with severe distrust from him.

Theme:

Yeah, yeah, I know. xD It was either that or Evanescence - Bring Me To Life. xD Though if all goes bad and he goes insane, I have a good theme for that too:

Figure I'll have a better chance with this RP, cause you know, it's just starting. xD Tell me if he's good, Yuffie.

Yes, I'm here. Yes I have been liking your posts. No, I won't let you down. :)

Henry: why do I have the distinct feeling i've been ripped off?

Me: meh.

Total opposite of Henry's Darkness, which is PURE darkness. Not impure or corrupt. nice :D

I did shift my gaze unto your character sheet to make sure I didn't rip you off while I was making mine. xD

I think Anthony would be envious of Henry.

Probably, or they'd just become good friends lol.

Wonder what would happen If Henry lent some of his darkness to Anthony. Would it have any effect? xD

Kuni and Sun both accepted. GJ guys

Brilliant! :D

(Anthony might not be my only character, just saying. xD)

Kuni and Sun both accepted. GJ guys

Thanks :D I'll do my best.

Oh god. I'm trying for a medieval vernacular for Seth now. I hope it works out!

Gonna try to keep up with the RP, but if I'm not here for a while (it's not gonna be a long time), then it's cause of college applications. Just wanted to apologize and let everyone know in advance.

  • 2 weeks later...

I really like how the RP takes four different points in the story and connects them to the world. Will the characters ever join together/fight each other at some point?

With any luck, things should come together like that. The thing about how I set it up was that there were many different places for a character to be, so I wanted to offer the utmost conformity to this. Once the initial conflicts like the fight with the Gods in Xha and the robbing of the Elven treasury begin wrapping up, I hope to be pushing characters (especially the ones in Xha as the region has a later game conflict compared to the other regions) towards each other. What I don't want to happen is for it to be just me interacting with a single player, I hope to get all the players interacting with each other.

Alright! Sounds good!

*Sort of a bump*

My bad, slipped my mind to post last week (am trying to do a weekly kind of deal). Also as a note, there won't be a post this next week either because I'm out of town. Sorry, but know I have not forgotten you! But, like I said, a slow moving game this will be lol
