NO WONDER MY SPOTIFY ACCOUNT HASN'T BEEN WORKING I was literally scratching my head until I saw the news after trying to update one of the anime threads.
There has been a huge DDOS attack, Twitter, Reddit and Spotify have all shut down. The problem seems to be affecting the West Coast of the USA and Europe.
A DNS server turns the names of webpages into IP addresses, which allow your computer to access these sites. DNS servers store millions of these adresses. This DDOS attack has interfered with those DNS servers, so you can't access certain sites.
Imagine if you could only phone others with a yellow pages book and nothing else, then someone comes along and rips up the yellow pages book.
Update-Twitter is working again and so is Reddit I think!
