I know I'm stating the obvious here but the term anime is just a shortened form of the word animation(feel free to say *no freaking shit* to me ) that we use to distinguish it from western ones.....otherwise both are cartoons\animation regardless of where it's produced

The main characters are angels who fight by transforming their underwear into weapons and they're trying to get back to Heaven. Their boss is a priest who is into BDSM and... other things, and they have a pet who's basically GiR from Invader Zim.

It has the makings of all kinds of chaotic mayhem! I should get to seeing it sometime in the future!
