----Kalace----

The brilliantly lit streets of Lieth's capital city, Kalace, were covered in a shiny luster from Closed shops and startlingly silent streets, apart from the occasional convertible. Bright lamplights and neon signs illuminated the blackened city with a plethora of color. Tall and mighty skyscrapers seemed to rest.

The nights were in preparation - although they remained a silent whisper today, overnight they would transform to an even more bustling noisy city than usual. Kalace was the epicenter of discovery and science, and although not everyone would "agree" with fact, the truth stood that Kalace was at the peak of world interest when it came to new findings or revolutionary technology.

Within the night, Sol perched atop a rooftop of a building, scouting out the area. A lopsided neon lit sign read "Whirlpool Bank" on a building whose window had been busted. Sol's eyes lit up emerald green in the night, and he scaled the building downwards.

Sol walked through the broken glass, stepping over the broken down machinery and security protocols, which had been tactfully destroyed beforehand. He slid open the broken door to the back room reading "employee only", where a main control panel was. The door collapsed immediately. Reaching in his pocket, Sol crouched and held over a card to the front panel of the control board, and a holographic image, which displayed the balance of "29,342,322 Rupees." A menu displayed, titled Whirlpool Circuit with "Withdraw" "Deposit" "Other "Generate Contract" and "Advanced Options {Administrator Privileges Required}".

"This was way too easy." Sol mumbled to himself, reaching for the holographic menu. A sudden sting shot up Sol's side, and a blistering sound shot through the silent night.

"FREEZE! Don't move!" A heavily armored, plump cop shot Seth with a stun gun. Behind him, a frail looking, skinny cop ran behind him. They wore bulky helmets and Magic-resistant vest, boots and gloves.

"Jeez, the hell was that for?" Sol grumbled. He staggered upon getting up, clutching his leg.

"Don't play with me! We saw you march in here!" the fat cop said. The skinny cop nodded vigorously.

"With this?" Sol flashed them the card. "Yeah, I did it to give the money back! I saw the guy who did it - beat him on the way here. I'll show you whe-"

"Likely story! We here it all the time! Don't we, Bruce?" The skinny cop nodded in agreement "Yeah, Prune, yeah!" Prune turned back around to Sol, poking his rifle in Sol's face. "Do I look dopey to you? Huh?"

Sol jammed his hands in his pockets. "Look! Look at the name on this card." Sol held up the card, then exclaimed "I'm not him. I'm Sol! You have DNA scanners? Check it!" He lifted his forearm.

Prune clicked a small button on a camera on his jacket. The camera scanned Sol's skin, then the card, and displayed a large "X" on its display.

Prune looked to Bruce, baffled at the result. "Well..." he croaked out, before Bruce said "Well, what do we do now, Prune?" Prune replied "What we do every day! Keep people from taking over the world! Let's dig around for some clues. There has to be a lead around here!"

Sol looked to the idiot cops, dumbfounded. "Ugh, these idiots. All the cameras in the world... even at a time like this." He chuckled a little, deposited the money, and then walked away, as the two men scrambled across the Bank's building. Police activity had been heightened in preparation for tourists, travelers, and representatives throughout Sectilis. Something about a big "archaeological discovery" had surfaced, and now the world was called to find out what was up.

But, that was a story for another day for Sol, strolling through the streets and pushing those thoughts from his mind. All he really wanted was some good food right now.

Sol heard a huge yelp, rushing towards a person on the ground. "Yuna!" He recognized the fox girl right away. "Are you alright?!"

Calling to Rose, he asked "Hey, um... Can you try that healing again?"

Another machine whizzed down towards the Baroque, totally bypassing the four. "Ugh, dammit! There's no end to them!" For some reason, though, this one was on wheels. It seemed... Different.

Edited by Clouded Sun

"Alright... If you're going to stay, though, I'll be sticking with you. I don't want you getting hurt again," Rose told him. "As for why they seem focused on here... I'm wondering if it has to do with the Cors. I just don't know why someone would go and attack so many innocent people for it..."

Her train of thought was interrupted as Sol ran off towards the sound of a yelp. Rose followed him and saw that he'd recovered a young fox girl from the chaos. It seemed like he already knew her. "Yes, I can heal her. Cover me while I do, just in case we get any more surprise visitors." She turned her focus towards Yuna. "I'm going to heal you, this shouldn't take long. Just relax, it'll only take a few seconds," she spoke in a quiet, soothing tone before placing her hand on Yuna's shoulder. It glowed, just like when she healed Sol, and she removed her hand after a few seconds. "Alright... since getting out of here doesn't seem to be a safe option, are you able to keep an eye on her...?" She began to ask Sol before realizing that she hadn't even gotten his name amidst all the confusion.

- Hanz Artor - Onwards to the Baroque -

Having arrived to his Master, Hanz simply extended his left arm as Hin landed on it, quickly disappearing in a flash of grey light. Hanz looked serious for once. He did not like needless civilian bloodshed, not in the least.

"Do not fret yourself over civilian casualties, my gift only affects whoever I want to be affected." Hanz assured Rose's statement, as he glanced at her and at Sol, who seemed like a capable fighter, if a bit inexperienced, "Suppose you two are making a stand?" Hanz asked them as he stopped. He looked at them, taking glances at the Baroque.

However it seemed as if Sol had different plans, boy ran to an acquaintance of his, a Kitsune. Letting Rose do the healing as she spoke her mind, Hanz almost, almost threw a void orb at a robot woman that passed by on wheels, (Dalian). He was surprised at the design, even with the few seconds he could look at the girl heading towards the Baroque. The Reason he didn't attack it was that he felt it different from the other things

Turning his head to Sol, Yuna and Rose. "Im going into the Baroque, not only there might be civilians in there still, but I bet that Cors is the cause of this. Or something." Hanz explained his plans, As he began to walk towards the Baroque again, if they wanted to follow him and help, sure, if not. They would just have to stay out of his way.

"You alright, Yuna?" Sol had a feeling that the girl was hard pressed to make it in the city alone. Droves of people poured from the Baroque, somehow making it out.

"I have a hunch that whatever is in there isn't good." He said, pointing to the entrance. "I'll help you take the guys out here out for a while, but I'm sure with that huge mech in there, things are gonna get rough. We'll need to go in there and help him out!" Sol paused then added,

"By the way, it's Solace. Just call me Sol."

~Baroque, Kalace~

She sit up as soon as Sol spotted her, along with another girl. After Rose healed her and Sol ask her if she's alright, she nods. "Yeah, I'm ok." She looks at Rose. "Thank you for the help." She gets up.

Iris simply grunted, in a rather annoyed manner once the robots had begun their attack, she was rather interested in the Cors. So, when that was interrupted, she was understandably upset. She summoned a bright golden chain, letting it extend to the ground, before she gripped it in her hand, and looked at the phone in her other hand, courtesy of the girl she had come here with. speaking of which.

"Iris, what are we gonna do?" The girl asked, Iris just hummed, as she examined the chaos.

"First I'm gonna get you out of here, and I'm keeping the phone, if you dont mind, you can buy another one right?" Iris asked, not really meaning it as a question, she was keeping the phone, and the girl would let her do so. The girl just stammered in response, before Iris rushed her out to safety, before she used her chain as a whip to pull herself back into the chaos. While in the air she noticed a group of people, who weren't actively running away, and she decided to join them, she did a quick flip in the air, and landed next to them, just as Solace gave his name, and Hanz began to leave.

"I wanna get to the bottom of this, so I'll tag along, if you dont mind the help of course. Not that you seem to need it, but still, help is help." She told Hanz, before looking to the others, as she began following him. Iris de-materialized her chain, and summoned a simple sword instead, it was easier to fight with, as least in close quarters. "So, you got a name, hat-boy?" She asked, in a slightly playful tone, contrary to the serious situation around them, simply because she enjoyed his hat.

-Zion, Kalace: Going Awesome-

Zion saw the time, then looked back at Lucia.

"Maybe another time, sweetie." She slid her hand up and took Lucia's hand in her own, kissing the back of it. "Until we meet again, my most hated conquest." She teased. She shimmered and disappeared, and now was appearing in the Baroque...as hell broke loose. Covering her head as the roof came down, she watched the carnage. It happened fast...the cops were useless.

And the Cors...it could not fall into evil hands. She stepped off the rafter and dropped down. Flattening one mecha, she stood and dusted herself off, then felt something. Looking down, she saw a sword protruding from her stomach. She grimaced. "You know how hard it is to get blood put of white?" She pulled herself off, as golden ichor flowed and sealed the wound. She turned to face the confused robot, who looked at her and froze...right before he was blasted and way by her very gaze. The pain was managable; immortality had its perks, but in the human world blood loss means unconsciousness, which led to capture. Never a good thing.

She began heading for the Cors, then paused. Dead bodies and mecha overtook the path to the Cors, and she sighed. How...annoying. She took a step forward...then kicked off, flying through the throng of enemies and sliding to a stop in front of the stage. All the mecha in her direct path were thrown backwards a bit, a few completely destroyed while some were just dismembered. Zion turned, resting Veritas on her shoulder. The remaining foes turned to her.

"Ugh. Could be in bed right now. Can't the world hold falling into chaos until I get laid?" She grumbled, before throwing Gagnrad into the crowd of enemies, spearing one. She suddenly was there, retrieving it, before slashing her way back to the Cors in a most acrobatic way.

"This isn't even a challenge." Zion landed before the new machine, and dispelled her blades. She stuck her hands into her pockets, and many points of light appeared around her.

"Albion Strike: Precision."

Sniper-like beams of light fired, slicing through the heads of the robots. Zion was bored, despite the gravity of the situation.

Infinite divine power.

Limited by the realm of man.

Still stupid overpowered.

Then she blinked.

"Badass senses tingling. Someone just walked away from an explosion while tipping a fedora. Goddammit, it's that guy isn't it?"

Rose - The Baroque

Rose was relieved to see that the two were reunited, but there was work to get to. "Right. I'm Rose. It's nice to meet you, Sol. And she's Yuna, is she?" She looked at the girl. "Anyway, we'll have time for more formalities later... for now, I think we should head inside and make sure that everything is secure in there. Sol, stick close to Yuna. I'll make sure that you two don't leave my sight so I can help if you need it." She went inside the building, expecting Sol and Yuna to follow after her.

Inside, it looked like the chaos had died down a bit, but there were still hordes of the machines closing in towards the Cors in the center. There, in the middle of the arena, she also saw a young-looking girl defending the object. Even from far away, Rose could see the blood stains on her clothes. "I'm going to go help her, you two be careful!" she said (Assuming that Sol and Yuna followed her anyway), then sprinted towards the Cors, slashing through any soldiers that got in her way. As she began to approach the girl in the middle, she called out to her: "Excuse me, ma'am! I can heal you, just hold tight!"  Rose continued pushing through the crowd towards the girl, preparing to use her Gift. Depending on how serious her case is, I might have to use a lot of energy... I hope I'll still be fine afterwards...

Oh, I'm going to love this RP even more now.

- Invidia Reyes (Yesterday)-

The other man(Hanz) had taken notice of Invidia, to not say something would be erroneous, so he shrug and responded to the man's inquiry. "Eh, only mildly, I think I can figure my way from here, I just couldn't help but take note of your rather fetching Fedora, sir. Well chosen." Reyes complimented the void weaver, tipping his hat to accentuate this. "That girl's secret hideout isn't so secret anymore. The youth are peculiar..." He noted to himself outloud, then looked at Hanz. "Well, I won't keep you. But perhaps we'll meet again. Name's Invidia, by the way. Good to meet you." With this and a salute-wave, Invidia departed on his way. When they day dawned, he would have to suit up, the calls tend to come in quite quick during times like this.

- The Witch and The Reaper - The Baroque, Kalace, Lieth -

Lucia's and Zion's proximity was, titillating, to The Witch despite their hostility, but before The Witch could respond, The Baroque began it's presentation...then some more, unsettling noises occurred. Zion took her hand and kissed the back of it before she departed, though The Witch was able to slip in a smirk before she was completely gone. The Reaper looked to the Stadium, his fists now clenched. "We need to get in there, mistress." He recommended.

"I couldn't agree more, my servant. Whoever is attacking won't be taking our, customers..." With a small lick of her lips, The Witch readied herself, with The Reaper using Shadow Step to teleport onto the roof of the Baroque, followed by Lucia locking onto him and flying straight for her servant at high speed, perching herself with him next to the broken roof's openings. They then nodded to one another as The Reaper vaulted over a broken panel into a rapid decent to the ground, landing a hard three-point landing with The Witch gliding down gracefully with her extended wings.

The Reaper pulled out two Hellfire Shotguns and began firing at the hostile Robots, damaging a few of them nearby, twirling and aiming for a closer one, blasting it straight in the chest and knocking it down, then emptying the remaining rounds into the downed machine, tossing away his depleted weapons. Another machine lunged for him, but he caught it in a headlock, snapping it's neck and tearing off the mechanical head. "Sleep..." He uttered before the head tearing, then he flung a Searing Fireorb at one of the weakened machines, putting it down.

The Witch froze another one in Black Ice, The Reaper shattered it to pieces, but one machine was about to get the drop on The Witch...before it's Cranial Processing Unit felt the impact of a high caliber round accompanied by the echo of Sniper Fire.

- Invidia Reyes, "Archangel" - The Baroque, Kalace, Lieth -

Ensuring his target was one of the hostile synthetics, the now armour clad Invidia, assuming his alias Archangel, had a small moment of relief that he didn't hit The Witch before returning to scope, cocking his weapon's slider and firing another round into a Robot clinging to life, cocking the rifle once more. Archangel then caught in the corner of his eye, a Robot Woman making its way towards two people, one of which seemed to be healing (Rose) and lined up the shot, pulling the trigger, the round sailed through the air at high speed towards the Machine's head, piercing the metallic shell into it's CPU, terminating it as it fell noisily to the ground.

Pleased, Archangel did a quick sweep of the perimeter outside the Baroque, eyeing a few people, including a familiar fedora-donning man (Hanz), having a small chuckle to himself from his vantage point atop a building parallel to the Baroque.

The Battle for Downtown Kalace - Inside the Baroque

-----------------------------------------------------------------

As Rose headed inside, Sol sprinted straight behind Rose, clutching Yuna and stopping for a brief moment for the sound of a loud gunshot. Above a building was perched a sniper rifle, and he got a headshot straight on a machine that was about to attack. Sol gave the guy a thumbs up from the distance. "Good thing we've got people holding the front outside. Thanks, Rose!" Sol beckoned to Yuna to follow him, saying. "Yuna, it isn't safe here." Sol explained, putting his hand on her arm. His emerald green eyes looked straight into hers."You gotta get outta here. But for now, stay in my sight. There's another city. Corbenik!" Sol kicked another wolf bot off, panting. "The people there can take you back home!"

"Hey! You!" Sol yelled to the man in the fancy hat. "Watch out!" He pierced a robot with the long sword replica, dissipating into a green smoke then reappearing behind the man. "Cool guys better watch their backs. Don't worry, Sol's got it anyway." Sol said cockily, striking a spider, Sol shouted "Yuna, stay where I can see you!" Sol covered the fedora-donning man's back, striking at aerial Ravens that swooped down, slashing at the humanoid machines, and flipping over the man to link up and do some heavy damage. "These tinheads must want the Cors bad," Sol commented. "Real bad."

The machine in the middle of the show floor was... Different. Was she fighting the other machines? Sure looked different from the others. Sol took a backhand grip on his sword, slashing through the robots amidst the broken glass and crumbled pillars of the auditorium, careful to keep the machine in his sights while bashing the rest, deflecting the shots with a spin of the sword and using the hilt to flatten anything in the nearest proximity. The machines seemed to be searching, constantly. They scurried through papers, artifacts. It's like they had a mind, trying to find anything they could about the Cors.

And they must have.

The machines stopped, jerked for a moment, then began concentrating on those fighting them, even more aggressively. They struck fiercely, kicking and punching and slashing almost barbarically, while others tried to escape, some which got away instantly and others that were taken down.

Suddenly, a glowing hot pain singed Sol's ring finger. The replica quivered, more and more until it burst into a wave of particles. Shouting in pain, he ripped the ring off, as it rolled a couple of feet away, glowing hot. Weapon-less, and exhausted, Sol crouched on the ground, protecting Yuna and taking refuge behind the other bot. Sol's eyes reverted back to their normal silver.

"I hope you're on our side," he mumbled, not really hoping for an answer, but grateful to her anyway.

-Zion: Surrounded by machines, snipers, dudes, Hanz, and very pretty girls.-

She reached out and yanked Rose down, blasting a hole through the mechas.

"Cutie, you're sweet, but I'm fine." She gave a bright smile and spun, blocking an enemy with Gagnrad. "I don't need the healin' you're offering right now. Save others." She suddenly yanked Rose forward and rolled over her back, kicking one mech. "HEY! THUNDER BOOBS! BLOCK THE EXITS WITH YOUR ICE WILL YA?" She shouted at Lucia, before turning to bow Rose. "Zion, Sovereign of Valkyrius, Queen of Valkyries and Succubi, and your gallant knight -" she quickly shot up and dodged an axe, stabbing the robot in the face with Veritas.

"Possibly more, depends on if you swing my way." She slid to the side and elbowed another enemy. "There's a lot of thesense guys." She observed.

=Dalian, Baroque, Auditorium=

A bot charged towards Dalian, and out of the corner of her eye she could see more people coming in, tripping her up. The bot had the better of her.

"You. Piece. Of. Metal. Junk!" She whirred up her wheels, them literally cutting into the machine.

"That's more like it now!" she praised herself, sitting up. and kicking the machine into two others, knocking them down.

"Don't send machines after someone with manipulation over technology." Dalian smirked, and then rolled to Sol and Yuna.

"You're that little Toria who was in the cafe earlier." Dalian pulled the machine away from them.

"I'm here to fight these guys, not to join them. Honestly my mechanism is more dangerous than theirs...but it's needing some upgrades." she commented to Sol and Yuna.

"Are you okay, boy?" she asked, looking to Sol.

~Yuna~

~inside of the Baroque~

Yuna nods to him. "Right!" She said. After she did what Sol told her to do, she watched him and the others fighting against the machines, worried about Sol as she cupped her hands together against her chest. (I wish I can help him and the others.) she thought. Unfortunately, she doesn't know how to fight (yet) nor she had a Weapon (yet). When Sol was screaming in pain, Yuna gasped, wondering what's going on with him, that is until he ripped the ring off of his finger. "Sol! Are you ok?!" She asked. She then looks at Dalian, was surprised to see her. "Oh, you're that girl who was in the Cafe a little while ago."

~Corvus~

~heading to Downtown, Kalace~

After he defeated the man, he gets on his bike and started peddling faster. He managed to keep the customers safe from the man, but unfortunately, the Café was ruined. (I don't know why he was attacking me and everyone.) his thoughts was cut short as he saw people outside of the Baroque, screaming and crying in fear. He was shocked as gets off of his bike and rushed towards one of the police officers. "Excuse me! What's going on in the Baroque?" He asked.

-Sol - The Battle for Downtown Kalace - Inside the Baroque-

Sol looked to the girl, taking a moment to catch his breath. Looking up at the girl's face, he realized there was no way she was one of them. She looked freaking cute. And sassy. And nineteen. "Boy, huh?" He said "You look just about the same age as me." He stood, smirking at her "The name is 'Solace', Sol works too. I'm doing just fine. Just needed to take a break, that's all."

That wasn't the least bit true.

Sol was frustrated. The Ring was halfway across the auditorium, and overheated. But the priority was getting The Ring back. He tried to think of a way to get over there, when a spider not began to jump on him. He slugged it continuously, until the motor inside whirred and failed. "Yuna! Here!" He barked, guiding her with an outstretched hand. He prepared to dive for The Ring, until a humanoid Mecha soldier swooped down in front of it. His arm folded and revealed a flamethrower.

The mecha cocked its head maniacally, lunging towards and burning the curtains. The bots continued to relentlessly attack.

"Theyre trying to blow the joint!" Sol shouted to the others, as more soldiers with Fire tech. A girl in the auditorium shouted up to a woman to block the exits. Sol howled back "Forget it! Leave us a place to head out! They're trying to trap us!" To the rest, Sol said "Yuna! Rose! Everyone else! We're getting out of here."

- Hanz Arstor - The battle for the Baroque -

"Hanz, pleasure to maker your acquaintance miss?" Hanz gave her his name and at the same time asked hers as they entered the Baroque. It was as he thought, chaos, citizens running in fear of the machines, which were coldy slaughtering everyone they could get their mechanical arms on. Hanz was there to put a stop to it, if it was the Corz they wanted...Nobody would get the Cors. Thats right, Hanz's intentions were to obliterate the bloody thing to the neverending void to put a stop to this. Albeit he knew he'd be stopped before he could do it. He figured he'd cross that bridge when he came to it.

Getting some backup from Sol, "Thanks" Hanz replied to the boy's statements, some backup was always welcome. But soon enough the boy's power began to backfire as the boy staggered losing his ring in the process, Hanz kept track of where the ring went, Sol was rather vulnerable. While Sol was being covered by some and the robot woman. Hanz saw four more robots coming their way. Before Dalian coul engage...

Hanz wasted no time dashing from Robot to Robot killing them as they came, as Sol saw the flamethrower mech, three more of the same type of mechs swooped down. Thankfuly Hanz was there.

Turning himself into void particles he managed to dash in there before they could fire off their flames any longer to cause collateral damage, Hanz open palm struck one of them in the chest, leaving a magical imprint on them as he quickly grabbed it by the throat and with a spin he threw it at one of the other mechs, disintegrating both in a bright grey light void explosion, simply holding onto his hat. The other two began to divert their attention to him.

Hanz smirked as he dashed forward at one, both mechs began firing their flames at him, too bad Hanz was immaterial during the dash, and landed right behind one, stupid mechs didn't know when to stop shooting the flames, which caused Hanz to grab the one he landed behind and throwing it into its friend, while using it as a metal shield. Quickly nonchalantly throwing a void orb onto the two now heavily damaged and staggered robots, they were quickly disintegrated as well.

As Hanz simply walked over to Sol's Ring and picked it up, examining it, he felt some unstable power from it. Regardless. Hanz ran over to Sol, who was taking cover by now. "I believe this is yours." Hanz spoke handing him the right. As he kept his guard up for any enemies that would attack them.

"Regardless if they're trapping us or not, we have to hold. we cannot let them have the Cors...whatever it is." Hanz commented.

-Iris - The battle for the Baroque-

"Iris, and same to you." Iris replied with a slight smile, as she accompanied him, however once they entered the Baroque her demeanor changed. She glared at the machines that were slaughtering people, summoning a chain in her free hand, and whipping it around, the hook on the end embedding itself in a machine, she quickly retracted her chain into her hand, pulling the machine towards her, before she jammed her sword in it's head, before she de-materialized both weapons and jumped forwards, using the machine as a springboard to launch herself high into the air.

Iris spun around, and summoned another chain, throwing it at a bot, and using it to zip down to him, she summoned a sword in her free hand, and ran it through the machine as she landed on it. She put all her weight on her sword, and flipped forwards again, landing on her feet, and whipping her chain around, the hook piercing another machine's head, before she pulled, and yanked the head clean off, she smiled, and re-materialized her chain, before summoning another moments later, with a slight hum. She was close enough to head Sol's words, and Hanz's response.

"Gotta agree with Hat-Boy. They want it, so we have to keep it from them." Iris spoke up, before looking around, and smirking a bit as she saw some pretty girls, this was going to be interesting for sure. Yet another reason to stick around, she thought, as she whipped her chain once again, and destroyed another machine.

Rose - The Baroque

Rose was surprised to be suddenly pulled over and moved all around by the girl she thought needed saving. She also seemed older than Rose had thought at first glance. "Um... 'more?'" Rose asked with a blank look on her face, feeling a little overwhelmed within just the minute or so she'd known Zion. Long titles about being the Queen of both the Valkyries and the Succubi, which were two races she had heard of but thought that they were more separate from each other; the fact that, despite Zion's blood-covered clothes, she was perfectly fine and moving around like she hadn't been injured at all; and, of course, her statement of being Rose's "gallant knight," something that not even the strangest men she'd encountered had ever dared to say to a warrior of Rose's caliber, were all a bit much to take in at once. If it wasn't for the battle still raging, she probably would have taken a while to let it all sink in, but she couldn't afford to do that now.

"Um, right... It's nice to meet you, Zion- er, Queen Zion. I'm Rose Brunhild, wandering warrior... Although I don't think this is the best time for detailed introductions," she stammered before slicing another mechanical soldier in half. Debate seemed to rise as to whether or not everyone should evacuate the stadium now or stay and defend the Cors; the fires that were threatening to burn the stadium down were a concern to Rose, but she also wasn't liking the idea of giving the robots what they seemed to be after in the first place. "Queen Zion, maybe we should take out the ones trying to burn down the building? I think our best options would be to either do that or escape. We can't really defend the Cors if we die in the blaze they make," she pointed out as she exchanged blows with one of the soldiers, quickly catching it off guard and stabbing it through the middle.

-Sol - The Battle for Downtown Kalace - Inside the Baroque-

"Thanks." Grabbing the ring, which was still slightly overheated and unusable, he replaced it on his finger. "These guys don't look like they're searching for anything anymore. They're blowing this place up. It's not here - Either the ones that got away took it or-" Sol punched another humanoid axe-weilding mech "- it's wasn't here in the first place. Either way, they're trying to burn this place down, and we need to get out! And Yuna can't fight! We can't keep her endangered much longer."

Sol was right. Even more flame throwing mechs began to burn chairs, pillars, and everything in sight in the auditorium. The flames staeted growing, and the structure of the Baroque began to crumble.

"Guys!" Sol said helplessly, taking cover behind Dalian and shielding Yuna from the crumbling debris.

~Yuna~

~Baroque~

After Sol got his ring back from Hanz, Yuna saw another humanoid axe-weilding mech goes after her and Sol until he punched it. "We gotta get out of Here!" She said. She knows that her father is extremely worried about her. As the structure of the Baroque began to crumble, Yuna gasped, closing her eyes as Sol Shielding her from it.

- The Witch and The Reaper - Battle of the Baroque -

The machines showed no mercy, their assault seemingly unending, now they were attempting to burn the place down without a care for whatever they were looking for, perhaps this Cors that was unveiled, though if that was it they would seemingly have more care...

Whatever the case, things were taking a turn for the worst and her feisty friend called for her to block the exits and cruel Succubus or not, that would spell doom for them all. "I block the exits and we're all going down in this blaze, Zion!" Lucia protested, yet she frowned. "Though I am lacking in ideas myself..." She muttered, The Reaper beginning to become concerned for his mistress's life. "My mistress, perhaps you could throw out a large quantity of Black Ice and I'll melt it with my flames. The large body of water could be enough to smother some of the flames. Either that, or I could fight this fire with my own." Her servant's ideas were appreciated, but The Witch looked around her, the flames had weakened the structural integrity of the building and it would put them, the Cors and the Robots under several feet of concrete and glass.

"This building is going to be our grave soon if we don't get out now! As for the Cors..."

- Invidia Reyes, "Archangel" -

"Forget the Cors! The exits are still open, get as many civilians out of there with you. A scientific discovery isn't worth your lives!" Archangel used his suit's voice modulator to broadcast his voice loudly so the occupants of the Baroque could hear him, as even after witnessing Hanz's power, The Witch and The Reaper lending a hand and others doing what they can, he knew they wouldn't survive if the building collapsed upon them. Invidia felt powerless, but he wouldn't do anymore good if he went in there after them, the building was too unstable.

- Hanz Arstor - Crumbling Baroque -

(Character theme for drama).

Seeing that most of his and the other's efforts in retaking the Baroque were in vain, Hanz faced a hard choice, retreat with the others...or protect the Cors from the robots? This was a very hard choice indeed, as his power was beginning to wane from using too much too quickly, Hanz had to act fast.

"You all get the heck out of here! I'l not let them have the Cors, no one will touch that thing as long as im here!" Hanz spoke with a serious tone, in contrasts to his usual indifferent casual one. Quickly running up to the stand where the Cors was left, with robots trying to get near it even amidts the building beginning to crumble.

Hanz began to mutter to himself this phrase. "Oh relics of the void, forgotten by civilization, lend me thy power. Sword!" Hanz spoke these words as he was nearing the end of the phrase several transparent ghost like weapons and shields began appearing around him. Almost like a selection. It was not common for him to do this. Because it took an immense ammount of power, one of which he had barely any control over.

He reached his hand out towards these summoned weapons, and pulled out a sword...not your common sword, this one emmited power beyond measure.

The Forgotten Sword of the Void.

This sword emmited great void power ,its usual neutral element taking form into that of a dark blue haze of power, as Hanz's power aura also began to emmanate the same energy.

Hanz stood in front of the Cors, as the building began to Crumble, Debris starting to fall upon everyone. Hanz held the swords upwards pointing it towards the ground. "Here goes nothing!" Hanz shouted as he quickly stabbed his sword onto the ground in front of the Cors.

And within seconds He and the artifact were shielded from the Debris of the falling building within a large void-like barrier, which heavily damaged any robots that tried to cross it. Hanz was aiming to maintain this long enough to survive the building falling down on him. this would hurt like hell, and leave him pretty drained afterwards. But dammit he was not letting these robots have the Cors.

=Dalian, about to escape the Baroque=

"Dalian Handsworth." Dalian introduced, looking back at the ring that was thrown. And then Hanz walked in, causing a bit of a badass scene and returning the ring.

"FEDORA FACE!" she then yelled at Hanz.

"You know we are really going to get to introductions and everything formal later, we are getting out of here. NOW." She suddenly yelled, grabbing up Sol and Yuna.

"GET. THE. HELL. OUT." she rolled off, struggling to carry Sol.

Dalian sped off, and as soon as she exited the falling debris and the Baroque, dropped Sol immediately and put down Yuna, once again slipping and falling.

"I hate these wheels but damn they are good." she commented to herself, turning to look at the Baroque.

"Fedora Face, saving the day...god I would have never thought someone who wears a hat THAT stupid would actually do something like that." she openly said.

-Iris - Baroque-

Iris grunted loudly in annoyance as she realized staying would be futile. She shook her head, and spun her chain in her hands. Before she tossed it towards an exit, the hook embedded itself in the ground outside the Baroque. "Screw this, I'm not risking my beautiful ass anymore." Iris said, before she zipped off, with a slight smirk as she picked up speed, as she flew out of the the Baroque, performing a quick flip, and landing on her feet, before she turned back and glared at the crumbling building, shaking her head.

"Moron. What a waste of a perfectly good hat. Could've at least given it to someone who could pull it off better. Like me." Iris muttered bitterly, before she shook her head, and noticed Dalian, Sol, and Yuna, making her way towards them. Merely letting out a sigh, as she crossed her arms, and looked at her nails, absentmindedly thinking about what color she should paint them next.

-Zion: Cute girls and fedoras at Baroque-

The goddesswas quite annoyed. Not only was Hanz trying to be a hero but without inviting her. Gtabbing Rose and flying backwards, she pushed her newfound friend down as the barrier sprung up. "Sorry sweetie, best stay down!" She then laid her hands atop Hanz's own, strengthening his barrier with her own power. As the dust settled, Zion looked at him.

"Hanz. You could stop being a badass, for oh, five minutes and ask for help. Sheesh." She dusted herself off, eyebrow raised. "Been awhile." She looked around now, taking in the sights. The Cors was important...very important.

Then she saw Iris, and shivered. "Nope. Not my daughter. Another hybrid...hrm..." the essence of Valkyrie was diluted by succubi, not enhanced or augmented. Magic was not used...

She grimaced. If she was here, Zion would be yelled at. She then turned to ensure Rose was okay. "You okay Rose? And please. Just Zion. I don't need to be called Queen. Especially with the hybrid around. Don't rightfully know if she sees me as her ruler anyways." Zion looked for Lucia. "And where is that psychotic witch and her pumpkin pie?"

The Battle for Downtown Kalace - Shattered
--------------------------------------------------------

Hanz's blast created an extraordinary amount of force, destroying the Baroque, protecting the others from the flaming building, and guarding the Cors. In addition, people had successfully evacuated and sought refuge in West Side or East Side Kalace, or traveled further south to the city of Corbenik, where families would reunite and head home. Everything began to calm... Or so they thought.

The Baroque, a symbol of peace, prosperity, and the resilience of the people, was in shambles. The young fighters were exasperated. Amidst the rubble, the Cors was nowhere to be found. Research notes, important information, and the cube all remained absent from the scene. And, among all, the machines continued to raid the rest of downtown Kalace, turning the district into rubble. The army that lie in wait was extremely great, and even stronger units than those that invaded the Baroque tore the city apart.

A utopia was shattered.

Sol couldn't believe what the hell just happened.

Leaping off of the mechanic girl's body, he managed to squeak out a "Thanks, Dali...", trailing off as he spoke the words, and numbly watching his city crumble. The deafening sound of a city in ruin seemed like silence. It was an unbelievable sight. What was only hours ago a prosperous city were the ruins of hell.

Sol slowly craned his head towards where the Baroque once stood, witnessing Hanz barely able to move after the blast, with rubble and dust collapsed around him. Zion had protected him in part, but he was still barely able to lift his own finger. The robotic mechs littered the entire ground around him, where severed parts collected. Somehow, these people Sol barely knew carried weight on his chest. He shouldered responsibility for their burdens. And it was an extremely difficult sight to witness. After the onslaught, there was no other option but escape from Downtown Kalace. The rest of the city was sure to put up its defenses by now, with an army at standby.

Refuge was the only option... The group remained with one last task... To break through to Corbenik, the closest in proximity from Downtown Kalace.
