I realize that in order to Sora wake up Ventus, he has to save Aqua first.

But when he does, when Ventus wakes up, his heart will return to him.

Sora wasn't going to be chosen by the keyblade because Riku was originnaly going to be chosen, but since his heart was filled with darkness, Sora received the keyblade, but only kept it because he was holding Ventus's heart.

So when Ventus wakes up, will Sora lose his keyblade?

Sora will still have his own strong heart after giving Ventus back his heart. So no, Sora won't lose his ability to wield the Keyblade...

I think you're right.

Sora has the ability of touching everyone's heart.

With his exepriences he had during KH1 and KH2, I think he won't lose his keyblade

my own little theory-

I don't think Sora got the Keyblade because of Ven, I think the Keyblade chose him by itself. Proof? Remember how Roxas could duel-wield? One Keyblade because he was Sora's Nobody and one Keyblade because he had Ven's heart inside of him.

umm no. the second keyblade was Xions. you would know that if u played 358/2 days. and if he does lose the keyblade, ven can just perform the ceremony on sora, and most likely, with a strong heart, sora will get a keyblade.

Forget where I hear it (probably from several people on here) but Xion was sopposed to have AWAKENED the ability to duel-wield making the other Keyblade Ven's.

Sora will still probably be able to wield the keyblade for 2 reasons. 1. He has a real strong heart, with or without Ven's heart within him. 2. Ansem the Wise said this "Perhaps it is he. The boy who can touch all hearts. His name is..." about Sora

Xion awaken the ability inside Roxas to wield Ven's Keyblade

Of course he would have a keyblade still! If he lost it, it would be a terrible ending to the series.

And, Ven's heart chose Sora's heart for a reason, so Sora must have some power to him.

Sora officially has his own keyblade. he won't lose it when he gives Ven's heart back to him. remember back in KH1 when the keyblade went into Riku's possession at Hallow Bastion? That was because at the time, Riku's heart was stronger than Sora's AND he was meant to be the original recipient of the keyblade, having undergone the rite of succession with Terra. but then later in Hallow Bastion Sora reclaims the keyblade showing more strength of heart than Riku. that's when Sora officially becomes a keyblade wielder of his own will. i think sharing Ven's heart only helped to get Sora the keyblade the first time, back on Destiny Island, when Riku first fell to the darkness.

Those were my thoughts exactly.

I could have sworn Nomura said that if Riku hadnt gone to the darkness and got the keyblade, Sora would have gotten a keyblade anyway.

he shouldnt but i also hope aqua or ven arent dead and i also hope terra's spirit is still out there

Aqua is in the realm of darkness and Ven's still in a coma, they're both ok they're just trapped. Terra is still being possessed by Xehanort.

if so, most likely it would be because a keyblade would have recognized Ven's heart in Sora, and saw that to be a suitable reason to choose to have Sora as its wielder.

Remember the darkness that was surrounding Riku and Sora right before he disappeared from the islands? That was Riku's darkness. The light that immediately followed was Riku's light. Sora touched that light, and in doing so, the Kingdom Key temporarily went to him, until he was able to be chosen by the Keyblade itself in Hollow Bastion.

Ven had nothing to do with it. It was all Sora.

If you played BBS then you would know that Aqua is in the Dark Realm with Ansem the Wise, Ven is in a coma in Castle Oblivion and Terra's Lingering Sentiment is still in the Keyblade Graveyard, so no. None of them are dead.

Terra himself, his heart, body and soul I mean, along with Master Eraqus' heart and Master Xehanort's heart, have been reborn as Apprentice Xehanort with the defeat of Ansem SoD and Xemnas.

I can't believe I never realized that! xD

Sora learned to use the Keyblade on his own.

If Ven's heart returns to him, then it will make no difference.

Well, Sora will lose the dual-wielding ability and Ven's Keyblade of course, but asides from that, nothing else will change.

I can see him losing it, for a time as part of the plot, but he could regain it on his own.
