Will Aqua and Terra learn the truth about Ven's origins?

Posted

I have been thinking how Aqua and Terra will react when they learn that Ven is from the era of the Keyblad War, I think they would be in shock when they learn of his true origins. I like to see what you guys think.

At some point, I'm sure. Though I'm quite honestly more interested in Ven's reaction. As if having to discover who he really was once wasn't bad enough, but now he's got to learn that he came from some other time entirely? Kid just can't catch a break with all of these missing memories, can he?

But no, I'm pretty sure Aqua and Terra are going to be pretty quick to understanding and accepting Ven within the first 10 seconds of learning this, considering how they weren't even phased by him being an ingredient for the X-Blade. I'm not that concerned with how they'll handle it, considering how they have their own personal problems that they have to deal with. Again, nobody from BBS or Days can ever catch a break.

They'll sure feel awkward once they come to realise that Ven's eon's older than the both of them and Master Eraqus. But the real question is, will Ven stick with Terra and Aqua or join the new Union leaders (Ephemera, Skuld, Blaine etc.) once Xehanort's conflict is over?

The real question is this: will Ventus learn the truth about his origins? This leads to another question: why was Xehanort really trying to get out of Ventus? Was it really the X-blade or something else?

I'm more interested in Ventus's reaction. Apparently he was a friend with Ephemer and Skuld, how he would react to their disappearance, I think he will be very bad.

Well, given how we know now that Ventus is from the Age Of Fairy Tales, it's safe to assume that aspect of his character will have great importance in Kingdom Hearts III! How Terra and Aqua will react, I know not, but I'm sure it won't fracture their bond, that's for sure!

Ventus will probably feel overwhelmed himself when he learns of his origins! :O

I believe Ven's own reaction is more significant.

Eraqus: "Ventus can't tell you anything, he doesn't remember."

To have been taken through time from another era is shocking enough but from the trauma of war--poor thing.

Now I admit I might have limited knowledge myself. I've seen his introduction in I believe it's Unchained X on Youtube in which it's somewhat suggested that he is meant to be the keeper of the book of prophecy (the child whose name was circled in red) but is that all that is revealed or is there more?

Actually, all Ventus really is at this point is one of the new Union leaders along with Ephemer, Skuld and Ienzo Blaine. There's no indication that he'll be given the Book of Prophecies.

True, no direct suggestion is made.

So then that first part of the story is all we have right now?

Basically, yeah. This is the most recent lore update regarding, which as you can see, makes no mention of Terra or Aqua, thus indicating that he's originated from the era of Fairy Tales and not the BBS era.

That's what I saw. So I'm not behind then.

I'm anxious to know the rest of the story.

Interesting that returning to the Keyblade Graveyard in BBS didn't have some kind of a de ja vu affect on him.

Well you must know the truth right Ventus? ;) Seeing this backstory throws a monkey wrench into the whole entire story.

I'm not so sure if I can be right but I agree with:

Nukara Rikova

Since as we all know, Ven is a character that cares a lot about his friends, Imagine you sudenly discover that, I can imagine that even maybe via Sora, why you may ask, well the one who opens the door of Kingdom Heart will be reborn, what about that ... well was on a Xehanort report but it says that will be beyond any human, whatever it also come with it, I guess maybe Sora will get some kind of revelation of those times, since I feel he is also par of some plan of MoM maybe, but well, whatever way or form he get to know the truth, he will want to know more, mybe seek his pass he can't remeber, I can feel he may want to know first by his own, I can even picture him feel frustrate and capable of turn down help from Terra and Aqua, even is the two of them are both his best friends, Ven will like to try by himself first is someway, I don't know you guys but if all come that sudenly, would you like to involve more people to an ancient incident that may have a lot of touchy story on it all at first? even if Ven is our Sunshine child of light, he may want to do this by himself, that how I feel, maybe with some fail attemps or some little time he would accept the help from his close friends and all but, I do think It will be a sad and bittersweet mess all that.

Probably but off screen

So you want them to take one of the most vital bits if the plot and make it happen off-screen? I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure that even Nomura is smart enough NOT to do that.
