Now, I know what you're thinking. But no, I'm not kidding when I say that Merlin should be a party member for Radiant Garden in KH3. He's got the magic. He's got the moves. Who agrees?

For Radiant Garden alone I agree. Otherwise outside of that, no not at all.

But no, I don't think Merlin really makes sense as a party member. Supporting character works just fine. What I really want is Cloud as a party member.

Well technically he was a party member in KH2 even if it was for that short moment.

feels like there are better options. Merlin never struck me as a party member kind of character. his role seems to be more in line with a background/support character like Cid. 

He seems too powerful to be a party member, but who knows.

No, we have the reformed Organization members, Kairi, Leon and Cloud. Why bother wasting that slot on Merlin?

Hmm i don't know about Merlin i was thinking he would be a NPC Character i mean in Radiant Garden we had No Party Members in Radiant Garden(Sans BBS/KH1 where you Either Play as one of the Characters then you have Ventus or Aqua or Terra fighting against Trinity Armor then when Radiant Garden was Hollow Bastion we had Beast be a Party Member.)

Nomura once stated that NPCs might join the battle, so I think this situation fits more for Merlin than an actual party member.

But it's a good idea nonetheless.
