Goodbye Christopher Robin Trailer #1 (2017) | Movieclips Trailers

I always thought that this was a story worth telling if told right, so I am glad people will finally realize this story. It's just so powerful of a story and I hope this movie is made well and if it is I hope it does well.

That looked amazing.

I thought this was going to just be some cash in adaption of the books from the title, not a biopic. I'm glad I was wrong: this looks like it'll be good.

This is something I will watch.

had to research this quick so the author of pooh was a anti war man. Now the fact that you are not fighting heartless in the 100 acre woods  has much deeper meaning

Of what someone might've said that I can barely remember, traveling into 100 Acre Woods is like a break from fighting.

I honestly can't remember how I felt about Winnie the Pooh being in Kingdom Hearts. I guess I felt a sense of peace (even though it was only for a moment--a visit lol). Now seeing this, is like what you said. 100 Acre Woods has a much deeper meaning.

Could others that possibly don't like 100 Acre Woods world in Kingdom Hearts, could consider enjoying its peaceful atmosphere, if they were able to see this trailer? I don't know....

I had read about this film over in Cinemablend, and I thought it was pretty intriguing, but wow, now that the trailer has hit, it definitely looks like it'll be a story that hits hard in the feels! And the feels hit me and made me all misty eyed! Just wow! :O

Given the already sappy nature of this trailer, this is probably going to start some controversy.

I mean, I like Winnie the Pooh too (the Disney version anyway), but I also know that C.R. Milne wound up resenting the entire idea of Pooh because he felt like his childhood was being exploited by commercialism, became resentful of his treatment by fans and of A.A. Milne himself, and pretty much carried that resentment with him to the grave.

But the movie's just going to make both pop and son seem like two angels sent down from Heaven to coerce with us puny mortals, aren't they? Yeah, probably.

Whoa, I didn't know that bit that you mentioned there. Wow...carrying resentment to the grave must be quite a sad way to go, huh? :(

Still, maybe this film will touch on all parts of Milne's experiences?

I think it's possible that they'll at least touch on it; I don't know if anybody saw Saving Mr. Banks (about the origin of Mary Poppins) but they managed to include a lot of the darker aspects to that story, even though they do gloss over/compress some of the real world accounts. It won't be perfect, but I think it'll be nuanced enough. Trailer was good.
