How to make re:chain of memories enjoyable?

Featured Replies

I enjoy the story and thinks it's one of the better written KH games. I also think it's fun to customize the deck and choose which abilities and combos you want. But I even for me which really like the game gets tired of its repetitiveness throughout the game. I understand that it ain't for everyone and don't really know what to say if you don't like it. The focus on acquiring sleights is one of the things which excites me the most, but if you don't like that then I don't know what to say. Watch the cutscenes instead maybe if you're not familiar with the plot.

Lately I have been hearing that alot of people actually like re:com, im currently at the alice in wonderland world and i still havent enjoyed a moment of the game yet it just feels boring.

Have you tried the Jafar card?

Also I've found that using decks which consist of Thundaga,Tornado, Magnet Spiral, MegaFlare, and even Blizzaga are best used against mook/mob/regular enemies. Try customizing your deck more and steer away from just using your attack cards against them. Save your attack decks for bosses.

Look forward to the cutscenes, they are pretty good and the boss fight too, that's what drive me to beat this game

Well, granted, the combat can be a bit slightly repetitive, but with all the sleights that one can unlock in this game, it just makes it all the more enjoyable to learn new attacks that will decimate hordes of Heartless in the blink of an eye! And yes, the rooms of the worlds are a bit bland, but don't let that stop you, because Re:CoM has an amazing story, and it's an excellent bridge into Kingdom Hearts II. Play it for the story, if nothing else, and I'm sure you'll find it's worth your time! The Organization members that appear in this game are immensely awesome, and I love every scene with them!

Plus, you get to play as Riku when you finish Sora's story, and Riku is a beast to play as, so there's that to motivate you! Re:CoM definitely deserves some love, as it's one of the games in the KH series that is sadly underrated!

My pproblem with the game is the hole card system, I would love to fully playthrough the game but... Those damn doors WON'T JUST OPEN

com is better the more invested you get in building a deck

Ooh, and all the powerful sleights you can perform with the right deck! One of my favorite sleights has got to be Reflect Raid! Such beautiful execution in Heartless annihilating arts! X_X

Haha, when you get the hang of the cards, trust me, you'll enjoy the game! :)

going further beyond, like building a deck that takes into account that cards you'll lose from sleights, is the real galaxy brain

Indeed it is! It makes for fun, strategic thinking!
