There's been lots of discussion recently in the Kingdom Hearts community about Riku's New Keyblade in Kingdom Hearts III.
There is more to this Keyblade than meets the eye. I believe that this Keyblade is in fact the Keyblade of the... (Why would I spoil the video? lol)

Seriously though, I hope you guys enjoy this video. Any support would be much appreciated!

That's actually a great theory . Nice !

Didn't Cynical say this the day we got the render?

I don't watch Cynical.

That's cool and all, but I'm surprised no one else has said anything until like three days after the render dropped. I don't blame you for not watching him nor am I trying to say anything extreme about your theory. But I'm thinking there may be a lot of people on this boat already. Though Skyward just put his video out mentioning the theories a lot of us have been on about for these past few days anyway. I actually planned on trying to be a Kingdom Hearts content creator within this year to be honest. So if anything I'm in the same boat as you, sorry if anything seemed rude within these couple comments, it really isn't the intention.

Just watched his video on the Keyblade and I didn't see him reference anything about the it being the Keyblade for the Realm Between. I've seen people reference Mickey's keychain but not go in-depth with it.

The reason people aren't saying much on it is because they are too distracted about the "car key" thing to think about the purpose of the keyblade. Which is whatever, people can think what they want. Also you're not being rude at all lol.

I've always thought that there should be a Kingdom Key for the Realm between. And I'm totally on board with this theory. But I always thought that Roxas was more suitable to wield it. Since Twilight Town was his home town, and lived in the world that never was.

Ah, strange I feel like he made note of it. I know I heard it somewhere before

There is no such thing as a keyblade of the realm inbetween

If you were to return the reports of Dream Drop Distance, you would find that there are only three types of keyblades within the series: keyblade of light, dark and hearts

I appreciate the efforts on making the video, but I totally disagree with the whole theory.

Way to Dawn, as much as it represents the road inbetween the two sides of light and dark, it ended up being a keyblade from the realm of light. Now, since Master Riku has already passed that phase of resisting the darkness and overcoming it, and since he had a keyblade from the realm of light, then it would be a dumb move for Master Riku to return back to a keyblade made from the inbetween (supposing that such thing exists) and its even worse to have a keyblade from the realm of darkness.

What am I trying to say here? And what is my thoughts of such keyblade since it has the same keychain of both Kingdom Keys? Well, according to the reports and according to King Mickey, since Kingdom Key D represents the reflection of Kingdom Key L of Sora’s and since the reports mention that there are only three types of keyblades, it leads me to one and only one thing for thing new keyblade of Master Riku’s, it’s the Kingdom Key of Hearts “Kingdom Key H” and it’s the third reflection of both Kingdom Keys of Sora’s and Mickey’s.

It would also make much more sense for such keyblade to be the one because it has the same keychain and since we haven’t seen any keyblade of hearts that represents the Kingdom Key until now, then that makes this one the last type of keyblades to exist. Besides, what could be stronger than joining the Dawn and then joining the light? It’s obviously the heart, Hearts are what makes these worlds live until today, the heart of children, the source of the lux of all worlds, and who knows? Maybe it’s the key that could lead us to the actual Kingsom Hearts that fell into darkenss long time ago (according to MX in KH3D) and maybe Master Riku took it from the remnants of the original Kingdom Hearts during his journey for finding Master Aqua within the Realm of Darkness. Regardless, I know one thing, since Master Riku has experienced darkness, Dawn and the light, then the only best challenge to experience right now is to accept the source of all lights, the heart.

To be honest it makes perfect sense that Riku would use the Kingdom Key of the realm between because, to be honest, Rikus way to dawn no longer suits his personality.  Unlike Sora, Riku has been constantly changing throughout the series, the first keyboard that he ever used(besides the kingdom key) was the soul eater, a Keyblade of darkness that embodied Riku's heart at that point, lost, corrupted, obsessed.  Then in Kingdom hearts chain of memories, we see Riku struggle to combat the darkness, before finally accepting that its part of him.  However even after chain of memories, Riku could not contain Ansems darkness, which eventually seeped out of him, and it is not until Riku is restored by Ansems The wises' machine that we see him obtain the way to dawn, a Keyblade that showed Rikus progression toward finding a balance, by still retaining the darkness of Soul Eater, and also possessed hints of Riku's heart changing once again.  Then in Kingdom Hearts 3D, we see Rikus progression come full circle, he has found a balance, and that is why the organization fears his existence at this point, he no longer can be manipulated by them, thanks to all that he has gone through.  Now that Riku has found this perfect Balance, most likely way to dawns darkness over light motif no longer suits Riku as a character, and While the Kingdom Key and Kingdom Key D are inverse colors of each other, Rikus Kingdom Key will represent his balance between both, his placement in that gray that comes from mixing black with white.  And with that the 3 most important Keyblades that are the Keyblades of all 3 realms now are in the hands of the heroes, this will play a major part into KH 3 and I guarantee that having all 3 realms Keyblades will play a major role in the final clash of KH 3.
