Hello all,

 

In relation to the news surrounding the fact that end stage bosses will not be revealed until the game comes out, that begs the question of how many bosses can we expect per world?

 

Let's start with Olympus: Not only do we have the troll heartless in Thebes, but likely all the Titans displayed so far, but it's likely we will face Hades again and potentially Xigbar.

 

Toy Box: Blue Haired Doll, Spaceship heartless and potentially Young Xehanort .

 

The Caribbean- Ruler of the Sky version 2, Multiple Pirate battles, potentially Luxord and Davy Jones.

 

My rationale/theory is this: A Heartless boss, a 'gimmick' fight- the Gigas and Pirate ships etc, Small Disney fight, Main Disney fight and a SOD. Plus I think in some cases we will have Unversed/Nobody fights and no doubt Pete and/or Maleficent at some stage. So my initial answer is 4, with fluctuations between different worlds.

Look at the evidence we have so far though, it alludes to more than that. Granted, whether or not you count what I call the 'Gimmick' fights true bosses is up to you. However, we've seen three for Olympus so far already.

I am counting like real main boss fights. Not stuff that is halfway and a so called fightwhere you alhave not finished the boss off, but it moves on in the story only to show up again later. I am talking bosses you have to finish off and then move on.

Since there is only one visit per world, it's hard to know who are the bosses and who are not. On KH2, we could say we had 2 bosses per world since there were 2 visit per world (with some exceptions). But it would be a little unsettling saying there's only going to be one boss.

 

I am counting a boss anyone that has a considerable large health bar and needs to be dealt with. 

 

And I really liked your theory.

I would really love for there to be as many bosses as possible as long as it was enjoyable and very dynamic. Four per world seems good enough.

 

By the "Gimmick" Boss, I suppose it's an opponent above all others under him (example: A powerful Gigas stronger than the others seen on the trailer, a spaceship very powerful than those seen on the trailer, etc). It would really be good, and perhaps a "Mini-Boss" would be appropriate to call them. Some opponent getting on their way and such.

But for the Heartless/Nobody/Unversed enemies that have a large healthbar, on my opinion it would be good to call them Bosses. They're powerful and all

i imagine as before different worlds will have different number of bosses, but i cant imagine thered be to many

3 bosses per world at minimum. Each world is longer than previous games and they typically had a boss fight or two.

 

And final world's gonna have so many bosses.

I mean the Rock Troll thing that we see in Thebes might not be the only one we fight. It might not actually be a boss fight, but something i'd call an "Event Fight". Something similar to the 1000 Heartless fight in Radiant Garden. So far, it seems to me that there could be at LEAST 2 for sure. For Toy Box, it seems to be the Blue Haired Doll, The Flying Saucer looking Heartless, and whoever the world's main boss may be. They might have sectioned off the worlds to have a Beginning, Middle, and End boss. I mean it IS Kingdom Hearts (3) after all. Might start seeing more things in trios than just characters. 3 World Sections with 3 bosses each sound nice.

 

So a good format would be, World Inspired Boss, Event Boss, Original Boss. Just my two cents. I can see 3 per world. Not counting Original Worlds.
