It's so nice to see how much KH3 evolved

Posted

Every now and then I search on youtube for a compilation of KH3 trailers, and the most recent one is this:

It just makes me feel so excited to imagine how much the game changed from D23 2013 to E3 2018. It's been a long road, but we're almost there to see, play and feel everything that KH3 has to offer.

So, how about you guys? What do you think about the changes? What did you like and, what did you not like?

Personally I feel like Unreal Engine 4 looks so much more beautiful than Luminous did back in the day (even in E3 2015 trailer).

Honestly, it's been quite the surreal and monumental experience, seeing this game grow, seeing how it's changed over the years since its epic reveal way back in 2013! With each year that's passed, the game has only looked better and better, and now that we're finally in the home stretch, with just four months left till release, I think it's safe to say that Kingdom Hearts III will blow away our already blown away minds! It's that powerful! :D

I hope you're right.  I have my wishes for the game and I really hope Nomura isn't backtracking on saying this game is going to be dark.  I have listened to some criticism towards the game and one person commented the game felt like a cheap knock-off with Sora just inserted into the story.    I didn't like how KH2 handled the Organization, especially with Agrabah.  They removed Abis Mal and just replaced him with the merchant.  Granted, Return of Jafar wasn't a good movie and removing Abis Mal probably was an improvement but with that said I just think how they handled the merchant could have gone better instead of him just being tricked by the Organization into getting gold because Jafar refused to do his job as a genie.

Organization XIII was only mentioned and I wish they had gotten more development.  I do think the games have progressed for the better since KH2.  The plot deepened even though it has gotten perplexing in some parts.  It has me wondering how the aftermath of Kingdom Hearts 2 and DDD affects KH3, especially since Sora now has an objective to find to save Aqua.  I also want to see what is going on with Even and Dilan and how they play into Xehanort's plan.  There is just so much from so many games that I hope Nomura and staff doesn't forget a detail but of course plot holes are to be expected.  I just hope to see more from the replica program and how Xion comes back and what her role is along with hopefully Repliku and Even's state.

honestly it's not REALLY evolution, KH3 was just revealed long before it was supposed to. The first trailer was shown when they had decided on the basic concept for the game, according to Nomura

we're basically just seeing the refinement process every other game goes through, they just have the good sense to hide from us

Oh, I'm sure that this game will make it a point to answer most of our questions that have been poised for the entirety of the Xehanort Saga. I have no doubt that Nomura and his team have ensured that every detail is meticulously gone over so that we get to enjoy the epicness of the finale of the Xehanort Saga in all its glory! I honestly can't wait to see how everything will wrap up, and I definitely can't wait to see how the true Organization will carry out their plans! So much hype! X_X

I just hope KH3 proves the critics wrong.
