So, now that we've had a few hours to digest that influx of tidbits at the end of the Big Hero 6 trailer, there's one thing I wanted to discuss that caught my attention.

We now know the Keyblade Graveyard is in KHIII. Deep down, I think we all knew it would be showing up, but this trailer shows us our first glimpse of it.

What I wanted to ask is this:

Considering Vanitas and  Xemnas appear, and Vanitas is talking about Sora breaking through battle through battle, would it be crazy to suggest we go to the Keybade Graveyard potentially... halfway through the game?

its certainly a possibility and as much it was implied it was where the new keyblade war would be i do think the final world will be new

mind you it could still be from late game they did it with DDD

Sora is standing with Mickey in the Graveyard, so I would assume that this scene in particular takes place after his journey into the RoD with Riku.

Going by that I would guess that the visit to the Graveyard would be in the later part of the game. You can't quite make it out but it appears that the Lingering Will is directly in front of Sora, and this(Lingering Will) being a potential Guardian of Light, it make more sense to me at least that's it's closer to the end of the game...

I dunno, man. From my point of view, that looks like Master Xehanort. Either way, I got major BBS vibes from that spot.

Also, I'm seriously believing my own theory that Lingering Will is going to show up to save Sora when he's cornered by all the darknesses, as shown in that shot with the chess pieces.

Another thing, is that if we do go to the Keyblade Graveyard halfway through the game, that would be a good time for Lingering Will to show up, especially if Xehanort is present. He'll try to fight Xehanort, get beaten, and Sora and co. take him back to Yen Sid.

It could be near the end of the game, and then, as alluded to by the chess scene, they could all surround Sora and force him to battle them one by one in a boss rush, which could lead up to the final battle, where Sora can't take much more, breaks, Kingdom Hearts is revealed, and then he and Xehanort do there final battle in Kingdom Hearts.

I’m sure everyone here is not entirely surprised with its presence in KH3. That said, we likely will visit it during the game where we see a completely different and unknown part of the world and then towards the end where we go for the final battle.

I think it won't be at the end for sure. Perhaps halfway through the big battle happens, and when the Guardians lose, the last act starts and then we have to go through the last world on a boss rush similar to how the TWTNW did.

Oh I can already see it in my head. Sora gets cornered by hundreds of heartless, the lingering will shows up and slices them to pieces in seconds turns to sora and you can read "Save them"

It would make sense to me after all the keyblade graveyard was the place were xehanort first summoned kingdom hearts and it was the place were all the keyblade wielders decided to fight so maybe its some kind of gateway world
