What are you guys hoping to see/able to do?

I'm hoping Riku brings back that Dark Mode as as a Situation command. I also hope he isn't limited to just the Realm of Darkness. In the latest footage we didn't see him with Mickey so i'm hoping we party up with him at some point. 

 

In an early synopsis we were treated with knowing that Riku and Mickey were tasked with finding the other Keyblade Wielders. I'm assuming that's the BBS trio. I'm hoping we can see Riku interact with each of them so they can all understand darkness isnt all bad in the right hands.

Due to recent trailers, I don't think we are gonna be able to play as him for long.  Not saying he's gonna die but I feel like Sora's gonna be by himself for awhile.

It all depends on how long we play as Riku. It might only be an hour long campaign . And it already looks like he's having a hard time with Aqua so who knows how successful he will be.

I doubt he'll have his dark mode since he would need a new design and all that. Would be rad though.

I don't think Dark Mode is going to return. I do think he'll be playable for a good amount of time, like 2-3 hours, but for the most part I think we'll be playing as Sora. And Riku will mostly be playable in the RoD and maybe a little in the Keyblade Graveyard as well.

Maybe Nomura already has one for him that we won't get to see till the game is out.

     Yeah I get the feeling we won't be playing as him for too long. The story is Sora's after all which I do prefer. Though it is nice to play as others from time to time. 

     I also don't see Dark Mode ever returning. It wouldn't make sense story wise since Riku conquered his inner darkness.

I agree that Riku probably won't be nearly as playable as he was in 3D, but at the same time I hope we're both wrong (no offense). Playing through the game with multiple characters allows the player to see the story through multiple perspectives, which I find really adds a lot to the experience. Plus I bet Riku's play style will be different from Sora's, which I think would make the gameplay nice and refreshing. Bringing Dark mode back would add to this as well, so I would love to see that return as well. But like I said before, you're probably right on both counts.

Me too. I'm praying for Lea/Axel to be playable. Kairi would be interesting to play as too, mainly because she's gotten an infuriatingly small amount of screen time and development. But since Lea/Axel is my favourite character and I'm super biased towards him, I would rather have him be a potential third playable character.

I'd like to probably play as Kairi and see what her battle style is.  Hopefully she isn't a copy of Xion's or Aqua's battle styles.

From the looks of it, she's just a copy of sora, which is kinda lame.

I agree. Kairi should playable. She's been around since the beginning and needs to be more of a central focus. At least on par with Sora and Riku. I'd like to see her character develop as well.

She deserves more than to be the typical Damsel in Distress that waits for her Prince Charming to return.

It's for this reason at first that I got a little angry when I saw her get dragged away in the Final Battle Trailer. I was like "come on, let her have her moment!" But then I had to remind myself that tha'ts happening to literally everyone except Sora. But still, they better do something with her and not have that be her biggest moment.

I want to at least see her put up a decent fight than the ones we've seen with her.  She basically didn't even put up a fight against Axel and neither did Hayner and Pence.

I know she isn't that trained in using the Keyblade, but yeah. I agree I'd like to see her put up some sort of fight this time around. It would look pretty bad if they wouldn't have her at least do a lot more than what she did in KH 2. Kairi is stubborn, so It's hard to believe that she wouldn't try to protect Riku and Sora even if they probably wouldn't want her to.

I also want to see lea fighting with his keyblade. I don't think we actually seen him use it yet(?)

We've seen him wield it. I don't think we saw him slash at anything with it in the trailer.  So, we haven't seen him actually use it. I would like to see him use it too, especially since the design of his Keyblade is really cool. I don't doubt we'll probably see him use it a few times within the game.

Speaking of, it would be cool if he could transform his keyblade into chakrams like sora does with his keyblade transformations. Hell, give everyone keyblade transformations haha.

Having them turn into flaming chackrams would be cool. I saw Nijukoo draw some fan art of what she thought Lea and Kairi's Keyblade transformations would be and I thought they fit the characters pretty well. She drew Lea with a giant flaming chackram or two smaller ones and she gave Kairi a giant fan that matches her Keyblade.

Lol. Yeah. I don't know if they would mind that or not. I looked at her concept art, but for some reason I can't find the one she did with Kairi with a fan. She drew her with a bow, but I could've sworn she drew her with a fan too.
