Thank you, I'm doing this in vanilla, but it's still hard for me to get right too. From what I understand modders have only been able to touch enemy spawns, models, and animations. This is just a weird glitch that I think I've found a way to manipulate in my favor.

it seems intentional that upon switching you enter a certain attack
