he's such a pushover really

I know there have been complaints about Osaka bosses breaking out of combos before, and they avoided that this time. But on this fight they went too far in the other direction to the point where he seems to have no revenge value

Yeah I wonder if if this was their test dummy for humanoid fights

Then again they made Phantom Aqua so they could've tried something with Jones unless the time and budget went towards the cutscenes

Hmm yeah they are clearly capable, what with Dark Aqua and Vanitas in 3. This was one of those "could have been so much better" moments for me

Especially as a big fan of Davy Jones/At World's End

Certainly one of many missed opportunities for me.

oh lord the guy in the video uses Simba

I've never used him. It was aerial and meow wow that I used when it came to links.

I like Simba

But using him in that tiny environment is funny to me

And it shows again the problems with boss design in the game

Here's an easy boss from KH2 that still manages to feel epic because of the way it was introduced, and the mechanics being better

i didnt mind that there wasnt really any Disney bosses

I think i said this before but like a majority of the bosses in KH3 came from the Disney villans or they are the Disney villans in another form like Mother Gothel

same. I don't care if the boss is a disney character or a heartless. Both look boring and horrible in comparison to the org fights

yeah mother gothel in human form would be out of place

the same reason why hook and clayton are horrible boss fights in kh1

like we saw her get shoved out the window by Pascal

so if she fell only to somehow be ok in the next scene it'd be out of place and wouldnt fit

I disagree, they explained Disney bosses being fightable before using "Darkness"

Like Scar in KH2

Which was epic as hell

Mother Gothel's heartless might as well be any other heartless

Oogie had unique mechanics to make him fightable, they used their imaginations

well that's your opinion and thats fine i was just giving my thoughts

You guys ever think SE will make a comeback like Capcom did?

The issue is it stems from the fact that Sora and co. are pretty irrelevant in Arendelle and Corona. They really don't shift the sides.

Or has, rather

what do you mean with comeback?

So you don't end up in a situation where you become a barrier between the Disney villain and their goals

And of course Pixar was pretty restrictive I hear

se is far away from the situation capcom has been

Not allowing their villains being bosses I think?

Debatable

Like Zurg or Randall

no it isn't debatable

Liftea SE are LITERALLY publishing shitty games, they’re developing and releasing shitty games

Yeah I don't mind the fact that they weren't retelling of the films. I enjoyed that but it was kind of annoying that Randal just gets written off for another darkness creature fight
