my biggest let down is having a entire map of the world and being allowed to visit only one region of it

when you parry Titan punch and the music drops on you that was so epic

KH3 could have been a great game but nope, ppl call it trash cuz of story

And that's because Kingdom Hearts itself emphasises the story and gameplay equally

No one pretends sonic games have good story

I think it really depends on the game

So no one cares too much about them

yes it does all nintendo franchise have dumb or no stories

If you have a very narrative focused game, that tries to replicate a very cinematic feeling then both the gameplay and Story will be integral to your enjoyment of the game.

Nintendo for the most part base their games on the gameplay. The story is an after thought

but an rpg without story would be ridiculous

People did expect a good enough story from KH3 because the company itself tells you to expect it

The same can't be said about FF or KH

Last I checked KH and FF are JARPGS

and rpgs are more story focused

This is like saying "gran Turismo could have been a good game but everyone hates the car selection so they say it's trash"

but i'm part of the more gameplay oriented people when it comes to KH, i love the story but i don't really care that much when i'm playing
