The problem with Aqua in 0.2 is that the game had to pad out a lot of her dialogue so she ended repeating herself a lot which got a bit tiresome. But there is a difference between her and bbs which would've been great to expand upon and that's her conflict with herself and her mentality while wandering through the darkness

Magic against Ansem's heartless?? ??? Then again, maybe I'm overthinking it

It's still unknown how exactly magic without a keyblade works, if it's possible

Sora used it with a wooden sword

Xion/roxas would use it when they couldn't use keyblades

Ah, but that's game mechanics. Story wise it could have been beast doing all the work. As for Days, I don't really know. Did they have an object to channel the magic?
