He was a shut in, introverted, not very outgoing and a slightly bitter person.

Then look at Sora, who is outgoing, happy go lucky, and turns to his friends for help

they are opposites

and 2 halves of the same coin

i don't think the FF characters being missing in KH3 is that big a deal...

they could have made for some great interactions

meh i don't think he went that far when making noctis

i mean sure it would have been nice for them to return.. but they were just side characters with no real importance other than to help build up the reputation of the KH franchise with the FF fanbase.

the sky is just a symbol of freedom and both character are stuck somewhere and wanna leave

they were the element that made this series a crossover series though

they had huge personal importance for sora

the more edgy one get the night bit because they can't both be named the same

well, nomura did say in interviews that Sora and Noctis were nammed as they were for a reason, supposedly

More specifically Noctis, though

there are plenty of characters from previous games that sora did not see this game as well.

Those were side stories and its only been 2 games since a ff character has been in the series
