Well,in TWEWY,you survive 7 DAys,and each day has a mission... but only one mission

You're given a set timer(it goes by random in-game time,not irl time,so you technically have all of the time to complete it)

And once you clear hte mission,you're good

You're just done for the day

So there won't be any "mission structure" or "mission mode" to speak of if it goes full Reaper's Game

So all those weeby characters could be part of one of these missions

Yes.. They could be partaking in a mission,and thier objective was "Destroy the mechs" or whatever for whatever day they're on.. maybe it's day 6 or 7,considering how grave it looked

It's gonna be weird seeing Neku and the others with their thin waists

Just imagine this in the KH engine they use currently

Still, if all those guys are real, or even if it's just Yozora, it begs the question how they have a video game in Toy Story land
