I mean look at how KH1 started. Riku was like “hmph.. Sora and Kairi aren’t my real friends! /wrist” sora proceeds to scream RIKU I LOVE YOU the entire game

BBS was the story of building everything up. And I loved that! A prequel, that showed the connection building into the characters we already know and love..

Terra had no reason not to trust Xehanort at the time

He was just a friend of Eraqus, his master

kh3 could have worked even without bbs

I will agree that the drama was forced between the three but in the end Terra did nothing wrong in that regard

just bring the apprentice xehanort back

and make him the evil guy

Basically I say this a lot. I often relate KH to Star Wars. And for me, BBS felt the most Star Wars out of the Bunch. Xehanort literally tells terra to give into the dark side at one point lmao

But I ate that story right up.

Eh I'm sorry but It's as not even the evil bit it's the whole fact that Xehanort is extremely vague to Terra the entire time. There is no clear reason for him to trust him so much other than he has the title master.

I loved it. And still do, I consider it my 4th favorite of the franchise

Terra had insecurities because Eraqus told him to surpress a part of himself, while Xehanort who uses that part told him there is a way

I don't see how that's forced

imagine kh3 without all the bbs stuff... the game would have more time to develop characters like kairi, sora, riku and the sea salt trio

Only time Terra ever did wrong was being mind controlled by Maleficent to believe he stole Aurora's heart

KH3 without BBS wouldn't be the same at all

Everything would be different

Whether it would be a good thing or not is up to debate because the story could go any way
