wish I knew how shaders actually worked lol

just a filter pretty much

I know how shaders work, but as someone who does not do graphic design..

I can't put it into tersm other than something as simple as what Connah said.. it's like a filter, but also not entirely

It's like Connah said, basically just filters but more complex

the best example is like ENBs for skyrim

anyone else wanna say it ?

Come on people, one more time!

Ok, let's see what Wikipedia, the world's most reliable website, says

yeah that's what I'm doin lol

"Shaders calculate rendering effects on graphics hardware with a high degree of flexibility. Most shaders are coded for a graphics processing unit(GPU), though this is not a strict requirement. Shading languages are usually used to program the programmable GPU rendering pipeline, which has mostly superseded the fixed-function pipeline that allowed only common geometry transformation and pixel-shading functions; with shaders, customized effects can be used. The position, hue, saturation, brightness, and contrast of all pixels, vertices, or textures used to construct a final image can be altered on the fly, using algorithms defined in the shader, and can be modified by external variables or textures introduced by the program calling the shader."

Wikipiedia acttually is pretty reliable though @Estopim

It has sources and everything.. and they've a strict editing policy

can we go back to arguing about my opinion

pain

Yes, I'm mostly kidding

That's not what my teachers said ?

I love Wikipedia

It's awesome

But yes, back to going against Connah

oof

It is

when you aren't even hiding the connah bashing

Just be sure to also check out its sources too, basically

Connah said it first!

Hey, if Wikipedia is so good, then why is there no Wikipedia 2

... Esto

I will end you for this terrible joke
