Kh3 is such a weird case though, because DDD and BbS did flaunt endgame, but..

We didn't know who the lights would be, we didn't know who the darknesses would be, we didn't know where the battle would take place...

There wasn't much in KH3 outside of that

Yes

people were speculating time travel with the mysterious figure ever since we saw his Keyblade so time travel wasn't exactly a surprise for me but also didn't fully expected to go in that direction

Which is funny because 3D only had one more wielder added to the roster
