Considering vanitas doesn't say anything in the scene he's introduced he likely was a blank slate of darkness at that point

The majority of Vanitas' jealously seems to stem form his ability to feel what ventus feels

Which is where Ventus connection with Sora comes into place and Vanitas is who we know today

yeah.. Vanitas just.. says nothing

So he's likely just pure darkness and is trained to be evil pretty much

Still don't get their explanation for why he looks like Sora

Well, using both game kowledge and novel knowledge.. Vanitas could have gone back to Ventus... but when Ventus joined his heart to Sora

Roxas looks like Ven, so they needed Vanitas (who is Ven's double) to look like Sora

Vanitas could not go back to Ventus.. and thus, it affected Vanitas' appearance

But story wise it makes no sense

Or else you would have 3 Ventus looking people

And so they explained Vanitas' look based on the fact that Sora's heart is where it repaired him although how Vanitas manages to look like teen Sora is weird as hell

He probably looked like teen Sora because that's the age Ven is

Sora offered a piece of his heart to restore Ventus and that would affect vanitas

Because it's exatly how Vanitas said.. Sora copleted Ventus, made him whole

Yeah but its weird how you can accurately manage to look like a teen considering how hair and style works

So if Ven was an adult, we would see and adult looking Vanitas with Sora's looks

but im applying too much logic then

I mean....it's a final fantasy based character
