looking on a deeper level, Sora loves Kairi so much, he was willing to get down on his knees in front of his own enemy and beg to see her again, if the ending to KH3 is anything to go by Sora is willing to give up everything to save Kairi, Sora has so much love for Kairi in this series, and Kairi does too, Its Kairi whose the first to remember Sora, and the person that was most important to Sora, the one who he needed to remember in order for his memories to piece themselves back together, was Kairi. I honestly wish they did Kiss in the ending not because I need to see it happen, But to solidify how much mutual love the two have for one another.

I'll just add, when it comes to Sora/Kairi affection, the handholding was just enough for me. Two 15 year olds don't need to be kissing regardless of Disney.

When looking at TAVs profile in DDD, it states that BbS happened a dozen years ago

So if Sora is 4 in BbS, he should be 16 by kh3
