Nah it's just different

Because Mickey says"get him a new one"

Like it still uses the same base keyblade.

Or did you mean Riku's?

Nope because he left that one at the beach

I thought you meant MM's.

No no no

I meant rikus

Definitely a new keyblade then

But why?

It's not like WtD was his first one either.

Why make a brand new Keyblade have such a lame backstory

Keyblade #3

Way to dawn actually had depth and meaning to its design

yes, but the name.. "Braveheart"

Ever notice how Riku's keyblade number aligns w/ the game titles?

Braveheart could've too if they gave it a backstory that complimented the basic design

Like the backstory of the main Keyblade for all the characters almost always compliments the character who it is attached to. EXCEPT FOR RIKU

well, actually.. i just founnd somehing

so, apparnerly, Braveheart is the name of a weapon in the FF series

speciically, its the name of the Warrior of Light's weapon

I mean that's cool, but that doesn't necessarily compliment Riku as a character

Its opposite to soul eater, which was named after a Dark Knight ability

Oh that actually is kinda cool

So, outside of design, the name itself at least compliments Riku's bravery and his role as a guardian of light

I just wish the backstory of the thing was better

It's his only Keyblade that doesn't necessarily have any story significance
