And he listened to a friend* of his master, one who is also his father figure. It was never some strange old man trying to give him candy. It was someone he believed to trust because his Eraqus did *and was given the option to become master again even after he failed thanks to Xehanort giving the pep talk he needed.

And let's mention another part, like Aurora's heart, Terra never stole it. Xehanort literally admits to doing it in Radiant Garden after Terra "saves" him.

Everything Terra went through was because of something Xehanort either planted in his head or made him believe to do it. Thinking Terra is at fault for things he never controlled is just stupid

But Terra listened to like a lot of the villains
