And yet I still give mad props to Nomura for doing what he does

It's not perfect, but wildly so it's quite enjoyable to see what he throws in next

Yeah, I actually had a lotta fun with 3D's plot, KH3 just kinda made it a bit "eh" in retrospect.

But I think DDD had better pacing.. there, I said it

I can't help but think that 3D put KH3 in a hard spot though.

KH3 did have DDDs pacing

Well, both games aren't really optimal when it comes to pacing
