Yes.. that’s why it’s not really wrong to say KH3 wasn’t concluding the series but the saga(the current one).. It’s another story if you agree on the bookend I guess, though

I'm going to sleep

Sorry Esto

those are too many hooks

The issue is what I call the "carrot in the stick" problem, where yes, the game is a conclusion to the saga, but it feels disjointed and loses its steam and hype being that because a large part of the focus is put on setting up what's to come.

like about 50% of this game story was not resolved

I just don't get why KH3 had to be a book end vs a book end with hooks for more

and thats the issue

a book end with hooks for more for an over 15 year long arc is the problem

As in, the set ups are the carrot in the stick, and the actual conclusion feels obfuscated by the carrot.

Like I'm not disagreeing, I'm just genuinely curious

Simce this is an opinion that I see often

It's not that the game doesn't conclude stuff, because it does, it's just that the large amount of scenes setting up what's to come makes that feeling of closure lesser.

Making an audience wait for an ending for such a long period of time, to give them a story that for the forseeable future has no ending is not fair

For me, at least.

As we know it now tho right?

Cause ReMind def could change a few things
In a good or bad way

I think that the problem is very much the way that it was handled. Can we all agree that at least the final cutscene was a bit rushed and not completely satisfying?

it did

Yeah im with you esto

Probably because it didn't make sense why THAT cutscene was the end

What would second world visits accomplish?

Well then see... It’s not really a problem or dismissive to say then that we know KH3 isn’t a conclusion to the series but just to the saga, then. Because when you present it that way, it makes so much more sense @Estoria#4001

People were already annoyed by the Disney stuff, how is going back to them a better solution

do you mean with final cutscene the secret ending or the Luxu cutscene?
