I mean, just having another seemingly brooding character which looks identical to another pre-existant character while being a videogame character in another world for some reason is enough to activate my cringe sensors.

See, that’s literally what I meant by fantastical elements.. I think we kinda have to roll with it in some capacity, but also at least parse the information with what we know
