Yes, I agree that KH2 can feel very static for the majority of disney worlds but there's also a lot of good stuff too, like beasts castle

And Port Royal

The thing is Disney worlds need to feel like they matter

Even without a motivation for Sora to be there, they could still try to make these worlds feel like they matter

"turn live-action remake worlds back to their original form"

What is a good motivation then?

what if Luxu is just a boomer mom who likes live action remakes

Because personally I don't mind looking for kairi or keyholes

Okay but the thing is there has to be clues

in the worlds

I didn't even care about looking for the power of waking because I knew that was the excuse, I cared that the story overall was just not good

One major issue to KH2 is that the worlds basically said "hey you seen this guy?" "No" "okay lets spend the next 2 hours helping you"

Some worlds did give clues

like Land of the dragons revisit

or some even progressed the story

like Beasts Castle

Yes, it's why it's true that generally KH2s story is not as good as kh1s, but I think in terms of like, epicness KH2 is king

But for me KH3 didn't achieve that

because triangle

Kh2's overall story can get a little dull at times

in some of the disney worlds

There was the ux triangle bit, which I think was the best kh3 ever got

It's just, it's surrounded by so much mediocrity

but never ever ever to the point that KH3 made me feel

we getting more triangle in remind

Triangle is coming back

Data battles don't do shit for the plot

but at least they can be fun
