He’s very loosely the “leader”

And I have a feeling Sora stated what he did as him grimly accepting that fate wants certain things to play out

But Xehanort deems Sora a leader

but Sora is literally rewriting existence

I feel like Sora shouldn't return but he will bc of plot armor

Xehanort deemed Sora one, Sora never said he is one

whether or not sora considers himself a leader, he still is one

On that note though, Xehanort certainly acknowledges Sora in a way I don’t think Sora normally gets to feel

where people often belittle him for being stupid

like quite often

I mean he is stupid

He didnt used to be like stupid though

it took him a whole kh game to figure out that Roxas is his nobody

he was naive but not stupid

But he cant even count in KH3

Basically

Sora was never portrayed as wise or knowing everything that’s going on

Look back at KH1, hes the one that calls riku stupid for taking in darkness so easily because he knows what it can do to him

Look at KH2, CoM, the org fights. The deaths are never portrayed as triumphant (outside of the final bosses), but in a rather tragic light

Because Sora doesn’t know the full scope of what’s going on
