I will add one more point though: if we're gonna get into semantics, it's usually more for.. actual text, then.Usually "show don't tell", it's usually when things in the story and the characters are related to by their details and their course of actions instead of just a speech or exposition or whatever... t's meant to just make you figure out the story and characters
