I also still like my theory of Kingdom Hearts = Gateway between Disney/SE Universe

In KH1 you go back like 3/4 times, in KH2 you go back like five times

Having that central area, it just makes you feel anchored and makes the whole KH world feel bigger

And balance it out with the original worlds

I definitely feel like that subplot was 100% set up and then they just forgot about it

Personally, I think there is a lot of reasons for original worlds

But on the flip side I think there's absolutely nothing wrong with just wanting an expanded twilight town, because it helps to immerse you into a game, and good games are all about immersion

BBS didn't have that grand feeling, it was a more small scale personal game but it focused on characters and that is still really good imo
