Sora literally did not need the Power of Waking to save Aqua

That part could've been easily been dealt with earlier

so far he only used the power in DDD to wake up the sleeping worlds, ventus and to save everyone

Like, do you know why so many people say nothing happens in between the Disney worlds when that's not true? Because Sora literally does not advance his plot during the Disney worlds.

And if the plot of the main character doesn't move, the whole narrative suffers

I just couldn't believe it when Sora, Donald and Goofy got to Corona and they literally said they had no idea why they were there

Like, come on

Being self aware doesn't improve your story

it would have been better if they showed sth at the end of each world like in KH1 or KH2 where Sora unlocked a keyhole. Maybe they could have showed him unlocking sth in his Station of Awakening to show a kind of development
