the reason you don't want to guard it on the ground (with exceptions like Counter Shield etc) is that he would immediately kill you after this

because you can't guard the attacks after this

guard lag prevents you from jumping into the air right after this

The interesting thing I found is that counter spin is better than I've seen

Usually I've seen slash or kick hit spin has some potential stagger value

Made the doll fight super easy on level 1

Idk about that
Critical is the only diff where this became an issue
When it works, it works really well
But as with any arpg, there are attacks that are more picky/straight up not blockable

Which crit helped find

Yeah it needs a few more frames in its overall hit box for sure but, I wouldn't say it's broken or not implemented well

Keeping in mind too the extra amounts of < 60 frame latency now that we are on a bigger engine and all

Even with the Pro or One X, the players timing is gonna be vastly different than 1.5 and 2.5

Random thought sorry if I'm interrupting a Convo but an underappreciated thing about kh3 is how seemless the transition between cutscenes and gameplay is, its amazing

Dean literally blocked fine in that video and it didn't work
