It clearly takes place after Sora dissappears, and that happens in the ending of the game

After the story. That's why it's a main Scenario update

The earliest it can be is after the kbg scene when Sora leaves

Straight after that is the ending sequence of scenes and then epilogue and SE

with that scene they showed in the trailer with the ff characters, it can only be post main story

really don't see where they'd fit in before
