The whole structure is bad, first you have the Power of Waking be this weird Jesus like power that can first resurrect people from their sleep but then can suddenly be used to be brought back to life which Sora failed to learn but then knew all along

and we kinda are seeing whats gonna happen in remind that he goes to yozoros universe/worldline basically them switching places

i mean you can blame DDD for it all tbh

And then he uses this nonsensical rule-less power to cheat the universe of the natural life/death cycle and bring back the character that was killed in one of the poorest display of female character fridgeing I've seen in any media

So basically the end point is composed of everything I've disliked in KH3's story

that game firetrucked up how all the shit we already had "SOMEWHAT" established and of course brought time travel

And guess what, we don't see Kairi in the Secret Ending, meaning that she may have once again been left on the kitchen Destiny Islands

i hate the story in general too trust me it was short and quickly resolved EVERTTHING in like seconds

DDD time travel was properly explained and was introduced for the sole purpose of bringing Ansem and Xemnas back to the story, if it had stayed that way it would've been fine.

However Nomura realized that he had introduced time travel which can be used to do everything and then used it as a stepping stone to explain everything that he couldn't justify otherwise

DDD time travel didn't destroy anything, it was KH3's over reliance on it that damaged the plot

DDD made what we had just firetruck itself in a whole

DDD overall definitely firetrucked the plot

DDD's time travel however by itself did not damage the plot too greatly

im sorry but just cant agree with time travel they should never use that its been used in FF for the longest and does not help the story one bit it should have just been the worldline shit there trying to do cause now you have not only time travel but dimensions

It's not that the time travel was bad in DDD, but it was implemented so poorly here. But whatever, I don't feel like picking apart every single aspect of KH3

lol, you are arguing with something I did not state. I too would have preferred if time travel was not introduced to begin it, HOWEVER the way it was used in DDD was not terrible, it did not destroy the plot, it was the other elements of DDD that damaged the ongoing storyline. It was KH3 using it to explain everything as a get-out-of-good-writing free card that made time travel suck as a whole.

DDD time travel brought back Xemnas, however it was not responsible for destroying his character by revealing him to be a manipulative liar with false intentions in KH2.

It wasn't DDD time travel that introduced the 7v13 end goal which ended up locking Nomura into a single event in a single location over a single time frame

Point is that DDD time travel is bad in the sense that it exists but the way it was used in that game was not terrible.
