Because that's the problem liftea. It's not that they're pandering or something by bringing back old worlds. Those worlds all had a role to play in this story. But they were shat on, misused, and downright unused. Those worlds aren't bad because they're old, they're bad because nobody evidently gave enough of a shit to make a Kingdom hearts game include kingdom hearts content.

Cutting ties with everything in this saga won't make that go away
