I'm not super huge on lingering will tbh. I don't like it when bosses restrict your moveset

But just fights like that is a bad idea

Where you have to follow a specific pattern and then attack

Dark Inferno, for how "easy" it is (depending on mode), you can still go ham while also waiting on the patterns

It rewards following patterns but it makes fights stale

Because that's well designed and other types of bosses aren't good

I get it yeah

2fm org fights are frustrating to me cause most of the times opening are super unclear

I don't find doing fights like that fun for long periods of time

And a lot of fights are too gimmicky

Because it feels like I'm taking a school test

The first time winning feels great but that's kinds it

I understand how you feel on both sides

Because from a casual perspective I like fights where I can just have fun and not have to memorize patterns and such

Data org has gradually become more and more overrated to me honestly

But patterns make fights more balanced and fair

Although they can get stale

I learned I don't enjoy like half the data org fights and eh

KH3 has had more big monsters than humanoid fights.

I still like them giant monsters battles.

Though humanoid fights feel more fun to fight.

My point is more, patterns aren't bad but if you are forced to follow a specific pattern all the time then it takes away the fun of it

Just don't have bosses with super annyoing movesets like larxene and xemnas or annyoing gimmicks like most of the others

I only did some of the Data Battles and a few of them had the same problem

Oddly enough in KH2 the giant boss fights were my favorites, but the org fights were always cool to me

@2 quid is good for sure!

Marluxia was a lot of fun because although he did specific patterns, you could still do your own thing
